Tweeple are loving the scene from the trailer when Vijay undercuts his own iconic dialogue from his 1996 film Poove Unakkaga, which is still considered to have some outdated perspective over love.

While several have posted the videos from the crowd gather before the trailer launch, other have posted the snippet of the trailer and congratulated Thalapathy Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna.

Varisu trailer has the film a solid contender to actor Ajith’s Thunivu. Yes! Ajith has played a rather grey shaded a character but it would be a huge treat to his fans if Varisu might end up attracting crowds from all walks of life as it has all elements of a typical commercial entertainer.

Apart from Vijay and Mandanna, Varisu also has Prakash Raj, Prabhu, Jeyasudha, and Shaam in pivotal roles. The film with music by S Thaman is releasing in Telugu as Varasudu and Varisu in Tamil on January 12, 2023.
