Later, her mother gave her the idea to contact the person whom she sent her salary. Then she called the recipient, told the whole scenario and asked him to return her money. The guy asked the Malaysian girl to write her mistake off as charity.

Seeing her confession on Tik Tok, many users tried to calm her down in the comment section, while some criticized her over her excitement. One of the users asked her to stop crying as it is not the end of the world and her money would come from some other sources. Another user wrote that take a lesson from this mistake and be careful the next time. While the third person suggested she to do cross-check three times next time before sending a single penny to anyone.
