Amidst Israeli forces killing Palestinian protesters from Gaza every Friday for last several weeks, its arch rival Lebanon basedHezbollah Secretary General HasanNasrallah, has called on the Israelis to return to their homelands saying that if they insist on occupying Palestine, a great war will erupt and liberate all the occupied Palestinian territories.
Addressing a mass gathering on the occasion of International Quds Day, following Iran’s revolutionary founder leader Ayatollah Imam Kheomeni’s call, in south Lebanon, close to Israel border,Nasrallah stressed that Hezbollah has a clear-cut belief that Palestine will be completely liberated and that Al-Quds shrines will be regained by its local.“We all will pray in Al-Quds on the Day of the Great War,” he said.

According to Beirut based Al-ManarTV, Nasrallah started his speech by referring to the religious aspects of Imam Khomeini’s announcement of Al-Quds International Day to be marked on the last Friday of the Holy Month of Ramadan every year. He said that Imam Khomeini wanted let Palestinian cause persist in the conscience of the world Muslimcommunity.
HasanNasrallah, who is alleged by US and its western and regional allies as leader of the terror organization-Hezbollah, pointed out that Al-Quds International Day is an occasion for the Muslims’ solidarity with Al-Quds because it is the essence and the symbol of the 70-year conflict and of because of the recent US moves against the holy city. He was referring to US President Donald Trump’s announcement of Jerusalem as capital of Israel and his decision of moving its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
Jerusalem is called Al-Quds, the holy city, because of Al-Aqsa mosque, the third most revered holy mosque for the world Muslims.
He said, “The most dangerous is what has been unveiled recently about the Century’s Deal which aims at eradicating the Palestinian cause and giving up Al-Quds and the sanctities to the usurping entity (Israel).”

Nasrallah added that Hezbollah chose the border town of Maroun Al-Ras for holding Al-Quds rally because of its geographical location near the occupied Palestinian territories and its symbolic memory of challenge and victory achieved by the Hezbollah fighters against the Israeli enemy in 2006 war.
This is the first occasion when Hezbollah advised theIsraelis to return to their homelands from occupied Palestine. Iran, Hezbollah and their regional allies don’t recognize Israel as a country, instead they call it Zionist entity. They do not share two state solutionwhere Israel and Palestine may live side by side peacefully asIsrael has been established on occupiedPalestinian territory.
However, West Bank based Palestinian Authority headed by Mehmoud Abbas has been toeing the US formula for decades in the peace talks. However, after recent US Jerusalem move, PLO has shifted closer to Gaza based Hamas, supported by Iranians, saying US has lost its credibility as “honest mediator”.
