India will face off against England in the series decider fifth T20I match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday. India has levelled the series on Thursday winning the fourth T20I byu 8 runs

In the previous game, Suryakumar Yadav’s promotion at No.3 made a huge difference for India in the context of the match as he registered his maiden T20I fifty in just 28 balls and combined bowling performances from Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Hardik Pandya, and Shardul Thakur seal the game for India.

In the previous game India had breached Englans’s bowling and put up 185 runs on the board which was the highest score in this series. When the game was in their hands, two back-to-back wickets of Ben Stokes and skipper Eoin Morgan in the 17th over of the game took the game away from England.

Team India is still suffering from the opener’s inconsistency and sixth bowling option while no.1 T20 batsman Dawid Malan’s performance is the only concern for England. England will expect Jos Buttler and world’s number one batsman Dawid Malan to show more consistency with the bat.

England’s leading pacers Jofra Archer and Mark Wood have been impressive throughout the series but they have not got a lot of support from Chris Jordan, who leaked most runs in the fourth T20.

In this series, Virat Kohli-led side has find x-factor with the emergence of Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav. His innings at number three was pure delight for which Yadav has picked up for the upcoming ODI series. Another big plus for India in the series has been Hardik Pandya contributing with the ball regularly. He was among the star bowlers on Thursday, taking two wickets for 16 runs in four overs. India will now be hoping KL Rahul fires at the top, having showed some form in the previous game following scores of 1, 0, 0.

To give a tough fight to India on their home conditions isn’t easy for any visiting side. Both sides are very competitive and whoever handles the pressure will take the series.
