Pathaan earns Rs 2.5 crores from advance booking in USA, social media users call it a perfect comeback for King Khan

Everyone is eagerly waiting for Bollywood’s mega superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film Pathaan. Film critics are also anticipating that Shahrukh’s film can make record breaking earnings at the box office. Despite the Besharam Rang controversy and boycott trends, at present the advance booking of Pathaan is going on in full swing.

And now the latest news suggests that Shah Rukh Khan-Deepika Padukone starrer has made bumper earnings in foreign countries as well before its release.

Pathaan’s charm in foreign countries

Everyone has high expectations from Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan. Audiences are looking very eager for this action packed film. Moreover Khan’s film is not only the most awaited in India but in foreign countries as well.

If reports are to believed then, through advance booking, Pathaan has made a lot of money in countries like Australia, USA, UAE and Germany. According to Let’s Cinema’s tweet, Yash Raj Films’ Pathaan has collected 3 lakh dollars i.e. 2.3 crores with the help of advance booking in USA.

On the other hand, according to the report of Box Office World.com, Pathaan has so far earned about Rs 52, 83, 557 according to 65 thousand dollars Indian rupee in United Arab Emirates i.e. UAE. It is being told that 4500 thousand tickets of Shah Rukh Khan-Deepika Padukone have been sold in advance.

Sidharth Anand’s directorial will release on January 25th in theatres. Where Shah Rukh Khan will be seen on silver screens after 4 years, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham will also play important roles in YRF’s spy universe. Moreover, after Happy New Year, finally Deepika and SRK will be seen romancing on-screen.

Pathaan is a part of YRF’s spy universe, where Tiger (Salman Khan) and Kabir (Hrithik Roshan) have already made their mark and Pathaan (Shah Rukh Khan) will increase the spy universe.

Blending historical terror incidents with a fictional revenge saga, the film explores India’s covert response to cross-border terrorism through the secret project ‘Dhurandhar’.

A brutal world built around revenge and espionage

Set around the IC-814 Kandahar hijack and the 2001 Parliament attack, Dhurandhar opens with Ajay Sanyal, an Intelligence Bureau officer played by R Madhavan, who strongly opposes releasing captured terrorists. Despite his resistance, bureaucracy prevails, setting the stage for the covert mission he later leads.

The project introduces its central weapon — Humza Ali Mazari, later revealed to be Jaskirat Singh Rangil — portrayed by Ranveer Singh with ferocity and emotional depth. Dropped straight into Karachi’s dangerous Lyari district, Humza navigates a nexus of gangs, politicians, and the ISI, with the narrative also touching upon tensions between local Pakistanis and Baloch communities.

Performances that elevate the film

Akshaye Khanna nearly steals the spotlight as a feared Lyari gangster inspired by Rehman ‘Dakait’ Baloch. Sanjay Dutt’s portrayal of SP Chaudhry Aslam brings an intimidating presence, while Arjun Rampal’s Major Iqbal leaves a lingering impact despite limited screen time.

Sara Arjun plays Yalina with conviction, and the film also features an unrecognisable Gaurav Gera in a surprise appearance.
