Bollywood’s legendary actor Rekha’s images are now going viral on the internet but this time the evergreen icon has turned to Barbie. Myntra shared the AI-generated image of Rekha in which she is featured as Barbie.

The actor is wonderfully characterised as enigmatic and timeless after the picture went viral. On July 3, the majestic photographs of the seasoned actress from the photo shoot with Vogue Arabia were published, and they instantly went viral. For the assignment, Rekha teamed with fashion designer Manish Malhotra.

It was recommended that someone used artificial intelligence to generate pictures of the diva after the actress’ love of fashion spurred the talk of the town on social media.

E-shopping platform Myntra shared a collaboration on Twitter that you never would have thought you needed! Rekha portrayed Barbie. You will be completely star-struck while looking at the photos since the effects are so stunning.

While sharing the photo on the internet, Myntra captioned that they asked AI to reimagine Rekha as Barbie.

However, veteran actor Rekha spoke candidly about her career and ideas on her profession during an interview. She posed for a magazine, and now people are falling in love with her photos online. She explained why she hasn’t committed to a feature picture since 2014 and acknowledged the privilege of picking the projects she wants.

The timeless beauty said, whether she makes films or not, it never leaves her. To revisit the things she loves, she has her memories of the old days. And the proper project will come to her when the time is perfect, the actor claimed. She also said, her identity as a person is unique, yet her cinematic persona depends on the viewer. As a result, she decides where she wants to be and where she doesn’t. Rekha said I feel so fortunate to be able to choose what I love and the luxury of being able to just say no.

Inti Guttu which came in 1958 and Rangula Ratnam which came in 1966 are the two Telugu films that laid the foundation for Rekha’s early acting career. Operation Jackpot Nalli C.I.D. 999 which was released in 1969 was her debut feature as a lead actor. She made her Hindi film debut in 1970 with Sawan Bhadon. Super Nani was her last feature-length film. Since then, she has made cameo roles in films and TV shows.

Set around the IC-814 Kandahar hijack and the 2001 Parliament attack, Dhurandhar opens with Ajay Sanyal, an Intelligence Bureau officer played by R Madhavan, who strongly opposes releasing captured terrorists. Despite his resistance, bureaucracy prevails, setting the stage for the covert mission he later leads.

The project introduces its central weapon — Humza Ali Mazari, later revealed to be Jaskirat Singh Rangil — portrayed by Ranveer Singh with ferocity and emotional depth. Dropped straight into Karachi’s dangerous Lyari district, Humza navigates a nexus of gangs, politicians, and the ISI, with the narrative also touching upon tensions between local Pakistanis and Baloch communities.

Sara Arjun plays Yalina with conviction, and the film also features an unrecognisable Gaurav Gera in a surprise appearance.
