Salaar: SS Rajamouli buys first ticket of Prabhas-Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer; pic goes viral

Today it is a very big day for Prabhas starrer Salaar: Part One – Ceasefire as SS Rajamouli purchased the first ticket of the film. The film is one of the most anticipated films of the year, it stars Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the key roles.

The producers of Salaar posted a photo of Rajamouli clutching the ticket at an event in Hyderabad on their X (formerly Twitter) account on Saturday.

The producers of the film and SS Rajamouli are pictured in the image, that has been posted on the microblogging platform. In the image Baahubali directer can be seen standing among the cast and crew, which includes the director of the film Prashanth Neel and actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, and holding  the massive ticket in hand.

Homable Films tweeted the image and said, legendary director SS Rajamouli garu buys the first ticket for Salaar Cease Fire in Nizam.

In the image, SS Rajamouli can be seen wearing a brown jersey, and was spotted smiling with the Salaar team. Prithviraj smiled for the photo as well, looking dapper in a black shirt. Beside him, dressed in a white V-neck shirt, was Prabhas.

As soon as the image was shared online, it quickly went viral. Fans could not stop themselves from expressing their excitment for the film. Taking to comment section a user wrote, can’t wait to see Salaar in theatres. Another said, the unconditional love and respect for SS Rajamouli. A third user said, waiting to see Prabhas on the big screen again. Others also shared the image and expressed their joy for the film.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki and Prabhas’ Salaar, both the films are scheduled to release on the same time, as Dunki will release on December 21 and Salaar hit the theaters on December 22, so there will be a major clash between both the film.

Additionally, the filmmakers revealed that advance reservations made an astonishing ₹80 crore before the film even premiered, a clear indication of the anticipation surrounding it.

The ₹22 crore earnings primarily stem from the Malayalam version of the film, which alone contributed ₹19.45 crore. Meanwhile, the Telugu version added ₹1.2 crore to the total, while the Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi versions brought in approximately ₹80 lakh, ₹5 lakh, and ₹50 lakh, respectively. This success showcases the film’s appeal across various regional audiences.

The footage displayed Aamir adopting fresh mannerisms and consciously shedding his star status as he delved into the role while chewing paan.

Ravi Kishan responds to fans’ adoration. After seeing Aamir’s audition, many viewers believed Aamir made the wise choice to step aside, as they felt Ravi Kishan delivered a more suitable performance for the rustic character.
