Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has released a job application, inviting all the candidates to appear for the Services Examination, 2021 to recruit the eligible candidates for the post of Group A and B services. As per the official notification released by the commission, candidates can apply for the post till February 9, 2022. As per OPSC, this recruitment drive will fill a total of 405 vacancies. Candidates can download the official notification from the commission’s official website.

Vacancy details

The commission has released 6 vacancies for Odisha Police Service, 97 vacancies for Odisha Finance Service, 2 vacancies for Odisha Co-operative Service, 40 vacancies for Odisha Co-operative Service, 150 vacancies for Odisha Co-operative Service, 42 vacancies for Odisha Co-operative Service, 10 vacancies for Odisha Employment Service, 8 vacancies for Odisha Taxation and Accounts Service.

How to apply for Odisha Public Service Commission jobs?

All the candidates are advised to visit the official website opsc.gov.in

Click on the icon that reads “Apply Online” on the homepage.

Then, click on the tab that reads Odisha Civil Services (OCS).

Applicants are advised to read all the instructions carefully before proceeding further.

Click on the login and fill the registration form.

Upload all the required documents.

The online platform will ask the candidates to pay the application fee (registration fee can be paid via google pay, Paytm, phone pay or net banking).

Download your registration form and a printout for future use.

Eligibility Criteria

As per the official notification, all the candidates with 21 to 32 years of age as of January 1, 2021, can apply for the vacancies. However, there is an age limit relaxation for the reserved category by up to five years.

Educational Qualification

Applicants must clear their Bachelor’s degree from any recognised institute, college or University.

Indian Army Agniveer Result 2023

The Indian Army announced the results for Agniveer 2023 on Saturday. Candidates who appeared for the exam can visit the official website at joinindianarmy.nic.in and check their results.

The Indian Army Agniveer Exam 2023 took place from April 17 to April 26 across 375 examination centres at 176 locations. The results of AROs Siliguri, Kolkata, Gopalpur, Sambalpur, Cuttack, Bihar Jharkhand Recruitment Rally, Barrackpre, and Baharampur have been released today while results of other AROs will be announced soon.

  • Step 3: Click on the link for Agniveer CEE Results 2023.

The Agniveer Exams were Computer-Based Written Examination (Online CEE) which was conducted on April 17 and ended on April 26. The selection process consists of two phases— Phase 1 will have an Online Common Entrance Examination at Computer Based Test Centres across the country and Phase 2 will see the Recruitment Rally by AROs at the Rally Venue.

Under Agnipath Scheme, those who are interested can serve in the Indian Army. The recruits named Agniveers serve for a tenure of four years that include training for six months followed by 3.5 years of deployment.

After retirement from the service, they will have the opportunity to apply to continue in the armed forces.

UPSC CAPF Recruitment 2023

The registration process for the Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination 2023 will end on May 16, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) said. Candidates who are eligible and interested in more than 300 posts under UPSC CAPF Recruitment 2023 can apply on the official website, upsc.gov.in.

The vacancies are out for as many as 322 posts.

UPSC CAPF Recruitment 2023: Eligibility criteria

Educational Eligibility

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or other educational institute. To be eligible to apply for the exam, a candidate must be between 20 to 25 years old on August 1, 2023.

Except for SC/ST female applicants, who are excused from paying the fee, candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 200 by cash deposit in any State Bank of India branch, credit/debit card payment using a Visa Master, RuPay, or UPI card, or by using any bank’s net banking service.

Physical Eligibility

During the hiring process, candidates must pass a physical examination.

Height:

  • For females – 157cm
  • For males -165cm

Chest:

  • For male -81-86 cm

Race:

  • For females -100 metres in 18 seconds
  • For males – 100 metres race in 16 seconds
  • For females -800 metres in 4 min 45 seconds
  • For males- 800 metres race in 3 min 45 seconds

Shot Put:

  • For Males- 7.26 kg in 4.5 metre
