The Xavier Aptitude Test 2022 (XAT 2022) will be conducted today, January 2,. The XAT 2022 exam for admission to XLRI’s MBA programmes will consist of multiple-choice questions in two parts. It will be Part 1 and Part 2.

Part 1 will include topics such as Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning with 26 questions, Decision Making with 21 questions, and Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation with 28 questions, while Part 2 will include questions on General Knowledge with 25 questions and Essay with 1 question.

XAT 2022 exam: Admit card

The XAT 2022 admit card has been released by the official authorities on the website and is available to download. Applicants should download the admit card on or before the exam date, as well as their other information and data.

XAT 2022: Dos and Don’ts

  • Bring a ballpoint pen, two copies of your admit card, photo ID, and a passport-sized photo with you.
  • Carry a face mask, hand sanitizer, and water with you.
  • Before going to the exam center, self-attest the self-declaration form.
  • Reach the XAT exam center on time, as specified on the admit card.
  • Wear simple outfits with plain cardigans and sweaters.
  • Submit a copy of admit card and rough sheets to the invigilator.
  • Update your health/vaccination status by downloading the Aarogya Setu app on your phone.
  • Don’ts
  • Other than a pen, don’t bring any stationery with you. Electronic gadgets such as cell phones, pagers, watches, iPads, and calculators are not allowed.
  • Eatables should not be brought inside the examination hall.
  • If you have a fever or symptoms similar to COVID-19, don’t come to the centre.
  • Make sure you arrive on time. At 9:20 am, the gates will be closed.
  • On exam day, avoid wearing jewellery and a jacket.
  • When you leave the examination room, don’t carry anything with you.
  • At the exam centre, don’t object to frisking or identification processes.

Important guidelines for XAT Exam 2022

  1. Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic scenario, candidates will be subjected to a temperature check and will be forced to maintain social distance, wear a mask, and use hand sanitiser.
  2. Electronic items such as health bands, earbuds, calculators, mobile phones, and pen drives will not be permitted in the exam hall.
  3. Candidates will not be permitted to bring any food inside the exam room. Diabetic students, on the other hand, will be permitted to consume fruits but not packaged foods.
  4. At the exam centre, applicants should bring their admit card as well as valid identification proof such as a PAN card, driver’s licence, Aadhaar card or Aadhaar enrollment form, ration card, and passport.
  5. Photocopies of ID cards or scanned photos of IDs on a mobile phone will not be accepted as legitimate photo ID proof.
  6. Only a transparent water bottle is allowed in the exam hall.

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad has declared the UP Board Class 10 and Class 12 results for 2026 on April 23 at 4 pm.

This year, more than 52 lakh students registered for the exams, including over 27 lakh candidates in Class 10 and nearly 25 lakh in Class 12. The examinations were conducted between February 18 and March 12 across around 8,000 centres in the state.

Pass percentage and performance trends

The overall performance remains strong:

  • Class 10 pass percentage: 90.42%
  • Class 12 pass percentage: 80.38%

Girls have once again outperformed boys in both classes, continuing the trend seen in previous years.

How to check UP Board result 2026

Students can access their results through official platforms by following these steps:

  • Visit the official website: upmsp.edu.in or upresults.nic.in
  • Click on the result link for Class 10 or Class 12
  • Enter roll number and required details
  • View and download the provisional marksheet

Who is eligible for second board exam

  • It is mandatory for students to appear in the first board exam
  • Students must have appeared in at least three subjects in the main exam
  • Those who have passed can opt for improvement in up to three subjects
  • Students in the compartment category are also eligible to appear
  • Improvement is allowed only in subjects already taken in the first exam

The second exam allows students to improve marks in subjects such as Science, Mathematics, Social Science, and languages.

Who is not eligible

Certain categories of students will not be allowed to appear in the second board exam:

  • Students who did not appear in three or more subjects
  • Those who failed in three or more subjects
  • Students placed in specific non-eligible categories by the board

Such students will have to reappear in the next main examination cycle instead.
