And now after getting to know the full truth of Johnny Depp and his former wife Amber Heard, the Indian audience have a hilarious take over it. People are comparing Akshay Kumar’s character to Depp, as he was accused of similar charges. The masterclass acting done by Priyanka as Sonia is reminding people of Amber Heard.

And Johnny Depp’s lawyer Camille Vasquez, the young California lawyer, who managed to unintentionally turn the limelight on herself and became internet’s latest sensation is being compared to Kareena Kapoor Khan as Priya Malhotra from Aitraaz, the movie which was said to be ahead of its time.

The Bollywood movie revolved around, Raj Malhotra (played by Akshay Kumar) and his wife, Priya (played by Kareena Kapoor Khan) and how their lives go upside-down when Raj’s former girlfriend Sonia (played by Priyanka Chopra) enters and accuses Raj for sexual harassment.

For those who can’t recall, the movie also goes through several court hearings and after the death of Raj’s lawyer, his wife Priya takes over the case. Not does the character played by Kareena Kapoor mercilessly expose Sonia but the brilliant acting done by Priyanka Chopra Jonas makes the movie a must watch. Bhatt addressed the questions he had been receiving from followers on social media and thanked them for their interest. However, he made it clear that he is not part of the upcoming season.

His clarification came after his name had been circulating in discussions about possible contestants for Bigg Boss 20.

Batwara 1947 has had a disappointing run at the box office, and actor Shabana Azmi has now shared her thoughts on why the film may not have connected with audiences. According to Azmi, one possible reason could be the difficulty some viewers had in accepting Sunny Deol as a Muslim character.

The film, which also features Preity Zinta and Shabana Azmi, was released on August 14. It has reportedly earned around Rs 53 crore so far, while Awarapan 2, which released on the same day, has crossed the Rs 200 crore mark.

Azmi also suggested that there may have been confusion among some viewers about Sunny Deol’s character in Batwara 1947. She said that even some people who had watched the film believed Deol was playing a Pakistani character, whereas, according to her, he plays an Indian Muslim.
