Bigg Boss 16: Shiv Thakre's team slams Vikkas Manaktala's wife Gunnjan for accusing him of stealing her husband's clothes, threatens legal action

Vikkas Manaktala, who was recently evicted from the Bigg Boss 16 reality show, was often seen targeting fellow contestant Shiv Thakare in the house. Now, Vikkas’s wife, Gunnjan has slammed the Marathi Bigg Boss Season 2 winner for stealing his husband’s clothes and perfume.

Reacting to her allegations, Shiv Thakare’s team has now issued a statement and threatened to take legal action against the actor and his wife for their derogatory remarks against Thakre.

The statement reads, Since Bigg Boss is over for some people, but it seems like they still continue to play the game even after getting out of the house. We as Shiv’s team continue to maintain a dignified silence on all things said by other people, as we know that his fans and his people know the kind of person Shiv is, who would never stoop down low or even try to be a part of any frivolity.

The statement further reads, Having said that, there have been several people and the recent ones being Vikkas and Gunnjan who have levied some really distasteful and derogatory allegations on Shiv. For the record, not just one or two but Shiv has a team of three stylists styling him for the show and there’s no dearth of clothes, shoes or any other necessary things in the house.

Mrs. Manatkala, on the other hand, has gone ahead and said frivolous things for Shiv that have deeply hurt the sentiments of his fans and family without even consulting or attempting to assess the entire situation. While the matter is being looked into internally, we request the media to not write anything just because they have the power to say or write so. And we will respond to this once we know what the exact scenario was, and we will certainly take this in a legal fashion, it added.

In the latest Weekend Ka Vaar, Shiv was seen wearing a blue co-ord set. As soon as the episode aired on TV, Guunjan took to her Twitter and claimed that the outfit was sent by her for Vikkas.

She tweeted, Shiv Thakre .. return Vikkas Manaktala clothes. How can you even wear his clothes? His perfumes, his pink shirt you took and wore which I sent him in the first week. I saw all of this in the live feed. He didn’t get any of his clothes and now you are wearing it. Shameful, she wrote.

Gunnjan later deleted the tweet after stating that her team had traced the suit and she had received it back. She added that her previous tweet does not hold any relevance anymore, and hence she is taking it down.

Akshay Kumar reacts to Jaya Bachchan’s criticism of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, says if she has said it, then it must right

“If she’s said that, then it must hold some truth,” the actor conceded when informed about Bachchan’s remarks. “If I made a mistake with a title like ‘Toilet Ek Prem Katha’ and she feels that way, then she may be right.”

Akshay Kumar has responded to criticisms of his social dramas, including “Padman,” asserting that only a fool would condemn such films. However, he quickly amended his stance upon learning about Jaya Bachchan’s negative comments regarding the title of his film “Toilet Ek Prem Katha.”

“If she’s said that, then it must hold some truth,” the actor conceded when informed about Bachchan’s remarks. “If I made a mistake with a title like ‘Toilet Ek Prem Katha’ and she feels that way, then she may be right.”

Initially, Akshay dismissed the idea that his films faced criticism, stating, “I don’t believe anyone has truly criticized my work; only a fool would do that. Films like ‘Padman,’ ‘Airlift,’ ‘Toilet Ek Prem Katha,’ ‘Kesari,’ and ‘Kesari 2’ have all been made with great passion. They impart valuable lessons, and I haven’t come across real criticism of them.”

The film “Toilet: Ek Prem Katha” was particularly notable for supporting the government’s initiative against open defecation. In a recent interview with India TV, Jaya Bachchan expressed her disapproval, stating that she would never watch a film with “toilet” in its title. “I would never go to see a movie with such a name. Is that truly a name?” she remarked.

Akshay emphasized his commitment to driving positive change through cinema, explaining, “It’s always about effort. For instance, ‘Toilet’ aimed to ensure there was a toilet in every home, and the government still shows the film for free in villages. ‘Padman’ intended to create an open dialogue between daughters and fathers about menstrual hygiene. These films strive to raise awareness and touch people’s lives.”

Looking ahead, Akshay’s upcoming release “Kesari 2,” featuring Ananya Panday and R. Madhavan, is set to hit theaters on April 18. The film is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
