Actor Radhika Apte is preparing to make her directorial debut with the action-fantasy film “Koyta” (Sickle), according to reports. The film is being produced by notable Bollywood filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane, who gained recognition for his work on “Black Warrant.” This film marked the debut of Zahan Kapoor, the cousin of actor Ranbir Kapoor, adding to Motwane’s impressive resume.

In addition to “Koyta,” Radhika Apte is set to appear in the upcoming period thriller “Akka,” co-starring Keerthy Suresh. Set in the 1980s within the fictional South Indian city of Pernuru, the series is centered around a matriarchal society.
