Being successful, having a fortunate family and luxurious life does not mean you can’t suffer from mental health illness. Bollywood celebrities would only speak about their popularity and celebrity status in front of the cameras until recently. Talking about mental health has traditionally been taboo in Indian society, but now celebrities are breaking the silence to encourage others to talk openly.

Recently, Ileana D’Cruz opened up about her mental health. The Mubarakan actor revealed that there was a time when she had developed suicidal thoughts. Last year, the Rustom actor stated that she had been subjected to body shaming since she was 12 years old. She called it an ingrained scar.
