Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut will be portraying a role of a dancer in Chandramukhi 2. The film will be the sequel to the 2005 film Chandramukhi starring Rajnikanth and Jyothika Saravanan.

Kangana will be essaying the role of Chandramukhi, a renowned dancer in a king’s court who is famous for both her dancing prowess and her spectacular beauty. She will be seen opposite Tamil actor Raghava Lawrence.

The sketch of Kangana Ranaut’s character from the film, shared by costume designer Neeta Lulla, was the cherry on top. Neeta Lulla said to her that the character of Chandramukhi is the epitome of grace in every Adaa. Her looks, her hair, her stance, and her walk exude and portray the spirit of dance, she added.

On working with Kangana Ranaut, Lulla said that she is very excited to be working again with Kangana on this project and that her sheer strength as an actor lies in her ability to lose herself in the character she is playing. Can’t wait to see what amalgamates in Chandramukhi 2, she added.

According to the reports, Kangana, who is currently shooting for Emergency, will start shooting the first schedule of Chandramukhi 2 in the first week of December. The actor will be taking a small break from Emergency, and the second schedule of Chandramukhi 2 will begin in January after Emergency wraps.

The reports state that Kangana is thrilled to do her next Tamil film after the huge acceptance of Thalaivii and looking forward to this very cinematic character.

Helmed by P. Vasu and bankrolled by Lyca Films, Chandramukhi 2 is slated to hit theaters in April 2023.

Apart from Emergency where she is playing the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, her upcoming films include Chandramukhi 2 and Noti Binodini. She will also be seen in Tejas where she will be playing the role of an air force pilot.

Dharmendra blesses actor Sonu Baggad in debut Punjabi film Travel Agent

Bollywood veteran actor Dharmendra blessed renowned action director Mohan Baggad’s son actor Sonu Baggad, who is debuting in the Punjabi film industry with Travel Agent.

The Baljinder Singh Sidhu-helmed film had a muhurat ceremony yesterday, which was attended by Ranjeet, Gulshan Grover, Johny Lever, and Avatar Gill among others. The event took place at Sunny Super Sound in Mumbai, marking the beginning of the film, which is is produced by Satwinder Singh Matharoo.

On the auspicious occasion, Dharmedra, who considers Sonu as his nephew, expressed his joy by saying, he is attending Mahurat ceremony to bless Sonu Baggad for his debut film. He felt very good, the Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani actor said. Sonu is talented and is starting his journey with a Punjabi film, he added. Dharmendra also expressed the desire to work with Sonu as he said, if there is a role for him in this film, he will definitely do it.

The story of Sonu Baggad’s Punjabi film Travel Agent revolves around the theme of many Punjabi people leaving their home and migrating to abroad for work. They leave behind their parents, families, and farming to work hard in foreign lands. The film aims to convey the message for the youth to serve their homeland, parents, and engage in farming while residing in their own country. The shooting for this film will soon begin in Punjab and Uttarakhand.

Travel Agent is produced under the banner of Gobind Films Creation Private Limited, with the collaboration of U.B.S. Productions. The music of the film has been composed by Gurmeet Singh, while the action director is Mohan Singh Baggad, and cinematography is Najib Khan.

The star cast of the film includes Sonu Baggad, Poonam Sood, Prabh Grewal, Gaggu Gill, Shavinder Mahal, Vijay Tandon, Avatar Gill, Jatinder Kaur (Rose), Ranjeet Riyaz, Nitu Pandher, Paramjeet Khaneja, R.P. Singh, and Jugnu.

With some of the greatest hits and blockbusters in film history, Aamir Khan is undoubtably one of the biggest superstars in the country. Now Aamir Khan’s 1999 release Sarfarosh celebrated its 25th anniversary on April 30, 2024.

Aamir Khan, his co-star Sonali Bendre, and other cast members will attend a special screening of the movie in Mumbai to mark the event.

Sarfarosh will have a special screening at PVR Juhu in Mumbai on Friday, May 10, 2024. Along with Mukesh Rishi, Naseeruddin Shah, Makarad Deshpandey, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Rajesh Joshi, Smita Jaykar, Manoj Joshi, Upasna Singh, Surekha Sikri, Akhilendra Mishra, Akash Khurana, and many other, the film’s director John Matthew Matthan and music director Lalit Pandit will attend the event.

Aamir Khan’s 1999 film Sarfarosh is undeniably one of his best-loved productions, while some fans may have been too young when it was released in the theatres. Sarfarosh discusses issues like arms trafficking and cross-border terrorism, it was undoubtedly a groundbreaking movie.

In the film, after terrorists assault Aamir Khan’s family, he gives up on his medical education to play a vengeful police officer. Under the pseudonym Ajay Singh Rathod, he penetrates their network.

Khan has to negotiate a violent and perilous world of guns traffickers while working undercover with a tough Mumbai police officer, portrayed by Naseeruddin Shah. Action-packed and suspenseful, Sarfarosh delves into issues of sacrifice, patriotism, and the war against terrorism.

John Matthew Matthan, the director of Sarfarosh, stated in a recent interview that he stopped directing movies after a few because he wasn’t enjoying the process. However, he now wants to return with Sarfarosh 2.

In the same interview, the director revealed that he met Aamir Khan last week on the 25 anniversary of Sarfarosh, where the two decided to host a small get-together and do a special screening of the film for the cast and crew.

Laapataa Ladies actor Nitanshi Goel’s edited picture from Met Gala 2024 goes viral, social media reacts

Laapataa Ladies actor Nitashi Goel, who played the charater of Phool in the film, was also noticed on the Met Gala red carpet. The 17-year-old actor was featured in an edited photo, which was posted by Aamir Khan Productions’ official X (formerly Twitter) handle.

Nitanshi, who portrayed a bride in Laapataa Ladies, was seen wearing the same outfit on the red carpet in the photoshopped image. She had a maroon shawl draped over her shoulders, a basic red sari on, and a matching bindi on her forehead. She wore a long veil as part of her saree pallu.

Sharing the image on social media, the production company captioned the image, their Phool is blossoming in the garden of time. They futher added, watch Laapataa Ladies on Netflix India. The internet prasises her Met Gala debut.

One user said, Phool in her timeless shaadi ka joda (Indian bridal attire). My favorite phool of the season, another said. A third user said, from Surajmukhi to Met Gala journey of Phool Kumari is the next big thing and added a smiling emojis, praising her character’s journey in the film.

In response to the image, Nitanshi wrote, Met Gala 2024.

In the film, Nitanshi portrayed Phool, a young newlywed who goes missing. She discussed her preparation for the job. Since this is a 2001 story and she was born in 2007, she watched a lot of Bhojpuri woman’s videos like Sui Dhaaga, Balika Badhu, and other stories to see how the women are there. She had never seen that time period before, so she wanted to experience it at the audition. She wanted people to sense from her body language that she is narrating those women’s stories. Nitanshi, thus practiced wearing a veil and observing their body language. She wanted a sari outfit, she added.

Meanwhile, Laapataa Ladies tells the story of two young brides who were separated while traveling by train and what transpires when police officer Ravi Kishan decides to look into the missing case. The film is currently streaming on Netflix.
