The film “Bad Newz,” starring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk, directed by Anand Tiwari, is now all set to release on July 19, 2024. The movie aims to sell over 50,000 tickets on the first day.

“Bad Newz,” directed by Anand Tiwari and starring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk, has already sold 22,000 tickets on top of the chain for the opening day as of 10 am prior to the release. The film is trending well towards selling 50,000 tickets by the end of the advance sale, keeping it on track for an opening of Rs 9-10 crore.

The advance bookings for “Bad Newz” are on par with this year’s successful release of “Crew,” which catered to the same audience and earned a net of 80 crore in India and 150 crore worldwide.

Out of the 22,000 tickets sold, approximately 18,000 were sold in PVR Inox and 4,000 in Cinepolis. “Bad Newz” has benefited from the chemistry of its lead actors – Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk – and its aggressive marketing strategy.

The trailer and songs have been received exceptionally well. Overall, things look promising for this romantic comedy, and positive word of mouth should help it reach 100 crore nett. The challenge for the movie will be in its second week, where it will have to compete with the box office juggernauts “Deadpool” and “Wolverine.”
