The first look of the highly-anticipated Salman Khan’s film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan was unveiled by the actor on Monday. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan will also star Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh Daggubati, Shehnaaz Gill, Raghav Juyal, Sidharth Nigam, and Palak Tiwari in titular roles.

Salman Khan dropped the first look video of the film and announced its full cast.

In the first look, Salman Khan could be seen in a rugged look with shoulder-cut hair and shades. The video starts with the actor riding a bike on barren roads surrounded by mountains. His killer walk and smile will definitely make your heart skip a beat.

Salman Khan announced the film officially on his 34th anniversary in the film industry. Reports say Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan was earlier titled as Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali and the makers have renamed the film for the fifth time.

If reports are to be believed Salman Khan’s brother-in-law Aayush Sharma was also a part of the film, however, he dropped out at the last moment.

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan also hit headlines after the news of Bigg Boss 13 contestant Shehnaaz Gill being a part of it broke out. There were also reports of Gill dropping out from the film, however, the actor dismissed rumours through an Instagram story.

Salman Khan was last seen in Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai co-starring Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda, and Sapna Pabbi. The film failed miserably at the box office and Khan was brutally trolled for romancing actresses half his age.

Khan will return to the silver screen after a while with Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Are you rooting for the film?

Black

Helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Black was released in the year 2005. Starring Amitabh Bachchan and Rani Mukerji, it is a film about a blind and deaf girl who becomes violent and unmanageable.

After years of persistence, she learns how to express herself through sign language with the help of her teacher, who later succumbs to Alzheimer’s disease. The film depicts the beauty of a teacher-student bond and won three national awards. Rani’s excellent acting leaves a mark on the audience.

Mardaani & Mardaani 2

Rani plays the role of a cop Shivani Shivaji Roy in the mystery thriller directed by Pradeep Sarkar. She goes on to solve a kidnapping case of teenage girls in the first film (2014) and to find a serial rapist-killer in the second (2019). Her acting is fierce, vulnerable and powerful.

No One Killed Jessica

Based on a true incident from New Delhi, this biographical thriller shows Rani Mukerji as a journalist fighting for justice. Her portrayal of Meera is an unforgettable one that was critically acclaimed. The film was released in 2010.

Hichki

Giving one of her career’s best performances in 2018, Rani Mukerji raised the bar with Hichki. Playing the role of a compassionate and strong-willed teacher Naina, who suffers from a unique speech disorder, Hichki will move you to tears and Rani will make you feel and think like never before.

Saathiya

Rani Mukerji won the ‘Best Actress’ award in 2002 for Mani Ratnam’s Saathiya. The film is still one of the most loved romantic dramas and redefined modern relationships as portrayed in Bollywood. Co-starring Vivek Oberoi, the film is a treat to watch along with some spectacular songs that will never go out of style.

Yuva

Rani plays a housewife, Sashi Biswas, in this Mani Ratnam film. Yuva is a benchmark for narrative, direction and screenplay. Rani’s acting received immense appreciation from the audience as well as critical acclamation. Set in Kolkata, the film was released in 2004.

Hum Tum

This 2004 film was ahead of its time. Starring Rani Mukerji and Saif Ali Khan, Hum Tum broke stereotypes and stigmas around second chances at love and rewrote the traditional Indian romance depicted in Bollywood films. Rani won two Best Actress awards for her role as Riya in this widely loved movie.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has honored the Oscar-winning film by rewarding director Kartiki Gonsalves Rs 1 crore. The documentary film had been on the receiving end of a lot of praise after it won Oscar for the Best Documentary Short in 2023.

As per the reports, on Tuesday, Kartiki Gonsalves met with CM MK Stalin who lauded her work and congratulated her for bagging an oscar. After landing back in Chennai following her win at the Oscars. She met with Tamil Nadu CM and received the Oscar trophy from his hand.

Chief Minister MK Stalin then facilitated the director with a cash prize of Rs 1 crore. He also honored the Elephant Whisperer’s director by gifting her with a shawl.

Tamil Nadu CM also congratulated and praised the Elephant Whisperer team for winning the Oscar on March 12. Chief Minister MK Stalin took to Twitter to praise the documentary makers and congratulated them on winning the Oscars.

He further wrote that there is no better news to wake up to than two women bringing the first-ever Oscar for an Indian Production. He also called the documentary film a moving story and said that the documentary deserves all the praises and accolades that it has been receiving.

The Elephant Whisperers

The documentary is a 40-minute-long documentary that one can stream on Netflix. The documentary revolves around the lives of elephant caretakers Bomman and Bellie and also was the directorial debut of Kartiki Gonsalves.

Salman Khan receives death threat

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has once again received a death threat from jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Security has been heightened outside his Galaxy Apartment in Bandra West.

Lawrence Bishnoi, whose name had come up during the murder case of Punjabi rapper and singer Sidhu Moose Wala, sent an email to Salman Khan and claimed his life’s goal was to kill the actor.

The email was reportedly sent by Rohit Garg who mentioned that Lawrence Bishnoi wants to meet Salman Khan in person. Bishnoi wants Salman Khan to apologize in public for killing blackbuck in 1998.

The e-mail stated Salman Khan must have seen the interview given recently to a news channel by Lawrence Bishnoi, and if not, he should see it. It further said if Khan wants to close the matter, he should talk face-to-face with Goldy bhai, adding there is still time but agli bar, jhatka dekhne ko milega.

In an interview that was recently aired on a private news channel, Bishnoi urged Khan to apologize or face the consequences. In a threatening letter, Lawrence warned the actor that he would crush his ego sooner or later if he won’t apologize.

Bandra Police has swung into action and booked jailed gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldie Brar and Rohit Garg for allegedly sending death threats to Salman Khan. A case has been registered against them under Sections 506(2), 120(b) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

This is not the first time Khan has received a death threat from Bishnoi. Earlier, Salman and his father Salim Khan received a death threat just days after the death of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala.
