On Tuesday, filmmaker Zoya Akhtar revealed the highly anticipated official trailer for Season 2 of the series Made in Heaven. Zoya shared the trailer on Instagram, generating excitement among fans. The show boasts an ensemble cast featuring Sobhita Dhulipala, Arjun Mathur, Jim Sarbh, Kalki Koechlin, Shashank Arora, Shivani Raghuvanshi, and Vijay Raaz in leading roles. The trailer takes us back into the lives of these characters who were facing crossroads at the end of Season 1.

This International Emmy-nominated series, directed by Alankrita Shrivastava, Neeraj Gaywan, Nitya Mehra, Reema Kagti, and Zoya Akhtar, is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Media and Entertainment, along with Zoya Akhtar’s and Reema Kagti’s Tiger Baby. The seven-episode series will be exclusively available for streaming on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video.

Shobhita Dhulipala expressed her excitement about reprising her role as Tara in Season 2. She mentioned that Tara’s journey had been both fascinating and challenging as she navigates her personal life with Adil and Faiza while managing extravagant weddings. Dhulipala had an incredible time shooting for this season and believes it will resonate even more with the audience.

Jim Sarbh, who portrays the character of Adil Khanna, shared his enthusiasm for being part of the show. Veteran actor Mushtaq Khan, who appeared in several Hindi films and was particularly remembered for his role in the 2007 comedy Welcome, has died at the age of 56.

Khan was known for playing supporting characters across Hindi cinema and had worked in films spanning several decades. His role as Balu in Welcome remains among his best-known performances.

Mushtaq Khan’s film career

Mushtaq Khan appeared in a wide range of films during his career. His filmography included Aashiqui, Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, Gopi Kishan, Krantiveer, Raja, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Jodi No. 1 and Hera Pheri.

He also featured in more recent films including Stree 2, Gadar 2, Baby John, Dhoom Dhaam and Jaat. His filmography lists acting work continuing into 2026.
