The weekend is here already and this is the one thing cinema lovers wait for. The day is all about binge-watching their favourite films and series on OTT platforms. But selecting a series and a film to indulge in is quite a task and sometimes, viewers end up regretting their choices.

Mission Majnu, Netflix
Starring Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles, Shantanu Bagchi’s film was released on Netflix on January 20. The spy thriller film revolves around an operation to bring information from Pakistan and save India from its ill intentions. The patriotic film also stars Kumud Mishra, Sharib Hashmi and Parmeet Sethi.

Indu Season 2, Hoichoi
The web series features Chandranavi Mukherjee and Suhotra Mukhopadhyay in the lead roles. The story revolves around mysteries hidden on large estates which are to be discovered by Indu.
Fauda Season 4, Netflix
The Israeli series Fauda is back with season 4. The critically-acclaimed series revolves around the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and also premiered at the 53rd International Festival of India. Helmed by Lior Raz and Avi Issacharoff, Fauda season 4 is live on Netflix now.
Waiting For You in the Future, MX Player
Starring Qiming Fei, Sun Qian, Zhang Zhi Lu, and Yunlai Xin, the drama series revolves around a middle-aged man who begins to doubt his decisions in life while going through his diary.
Chhatriwali, Zee5
Starring Rakul Preet Singh, the film deals with the taboo revolving around sex education and condoms in India. Directed by Tejas Prabhaa Vijay Deoskar, the film also features Sumeet Vyas, Satish Kaushik and others.

OMG 2 poster reveal: Akshay Kumar, Yami Gautam starrer to hit theaters on August 11
After 11 years of the first part, Akshay Kumar is back with the social comedy sequel OMG.

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is back with an update on his upcoming movie Oh My God 2 (OMG). The actor today took to his Instagram and revealed a new poster of himself from the movie and the release date.
The film is scheduled to release on August 11, 2023. After 11 years of the first part, Akshay Kumar is back with the social comedy sequel OMG. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the sequel of the film to get released as the first part of the film was a huge hit.
Sharing the photo on Instagram Kumar wrote, we are coming, you are also invited. In the latest poster shared by Akshay, he is depicted in a never-before-seen pose which is inspired by Lord Shiva. In the poster, Kumar is seen having long hair and carrying Lord Shiva’s damru (power drum), making his look remarkable. Ever since Akshay dropped the poster, fans are mesmerised by his new look and the poster of the film has gone viral on the internet.
In the first part of the film starring Paresh Rawal which was released in 2012, Akshay played the character of Lord Krishna.
Oh My God 2 is based on India’s sex education system. The film also stars Yami Gautam, Pankaj Tiwari, Arun Govil, and Amir Naik in pivotal roles. The film is directed by Amit Rai, with producers Ashwin Varde, Viacom 18, and Jio Studios. Akshay Kumar began filming the movie in October 2021 in Madhya Pradesh but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the shooting of the film was postponed.
However, at the box office, Akshay’s movie will compete with Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 and Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal. Both films are also scheduled to release on the same date, August 11.

Adipurush: Ranbir Kapoor to book 10,000 tickets for underprivileged children
Om Raut film’s Adipurush, represents Indian cinema’s attempt to adapt one of the greatest mythical tales on the big screen.

Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer Adipurush is all set to hit the screen on June 16. Ahead of the release, today it was confirmed that 10,000 tickets for Adipursh will be reserved by Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor for unprivileged children.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh announced the news on his social media accounts confirming Ranbir’s involvement in the film. He tweeted a poster of Adipurush and wrote, “#Xclusiv… RANBIR KAPOOR TO BOOK 10,000 TICKETS OF ‘ADIPURUSH’ FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN… AUTHENTIC POSTERIn addition to #RanbirKapoor, #Adipurush #Prabhas #KritiSanon #SaifAliKhan #SunnySingh #DevdattaNage is also used.
Om Raut film’s Adipurush, represents Indian cinema’s attempt to adapt one of the greatest mythical tales on the big screen. Prabhas will be seen playing Lord Ram in the film, with Kriti Sanon as Janaki and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh. Prabhas will collaborate with Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan for the first time.
The film has been made in Hindi and Telugu in order for a pan-Indian release.
With a massive budget of Rs 500 crore, Adipurush is said to be one of the most expensive films ever produced in the film industry. ‘Panipat’, a high-budget period drama from Ashutosh Gowarikar, was Krti’s first high-budget period production.
Meanwhile, Tollywood producer Abhishek Agarwal, who holds the record of mega-hit films like The Kashmir Files and Kartikey 2, also announced to donate 10,000 free tickets for Prabhas’ epic mythological movie Adipurush.
He said, there is a lesson for humanity in every chapter of Lord Shri Ram. He needs to be known to this generation, and his Divine Footsteps must be followed.
Government schools, orphanages, and old age homes all over Telangana will be given tickets.

Actress Sonnalli Seygall of Pyaar Ka Punchnama is getting hitched to her longtime beau Asesh L Sajnani in a private wedding ceremony today. With a close-knit mehendi ceremony on Monday, the pre-wedding celebrations got underway.
For the wedding, Seygall donned a full-sleeved blouse with a blush pink saree. Seygall walked beneath the floral canopy that one of her close friends and filmmaker Luv Ranjan was holding. What caught the eye in the dreamy wedding was her special entry with her pet dog, Bounty. Seygall came down the aisle with her dog Bounty, who was dressed in ethnic wear.
A number of celebrities, including Kartik Aaryan, Luv Ranjan, Shama Sikander, Chahat Khanna, Karan V Grover, Ridhima Pandit, Shenaz Treasurywala, Mandira Bedi, Raai Laxmi, and others, have already gathered at the location where Sonnalli and Ashesh will tie the knot this afternoon in a gurudwara in Mumbai. All of the wedding guests, including close friends from the industry, were attired in ivory and white.
The actor will host the reception party just a day after her wedding, on June 8, as per the sources. The actress went on her bachelorette trip this year in May, as per the sources.
Sonnalli Seygall played a prominent role in Pyaar Ka Punchnama which was also her debut film, directed by Luv Ranjan and starring Kartik Aaryan, Nushratt Bharuccha, Sunny Singh, Ishita Raj Sharma, Divyenndu, and Raayo S Bakhirta. She has since appeared in a number of other films, including Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. She last appeared in Jai Mummy Di, alongside Sunny Singh. She was seen in the web series Anamika, Out of Order, and Illegal – Justice. Her husband Ashesh Sajnani, owns a hotel. Ashesh and Sonnalli allegedly dated for five years while maintaining a secretive relationship.
