Parineeti Chopra is not only a skilled actor but a gifted singer as well. The Ishaqzaake actor shared a video of her singing her version of Rahen Na Rahen, a popular 60s song from the movie Mamta,1966, sung by the late Lata Mangeshkar.

With her rendition, she wrote in her Instagram caption, that some songs are not a melody, they are a feeling! She also added, a sparkling emoji and a green heart emoji. Her soulful voice while singing Lata’s iconic song invokes nostalgia and remembrance of Lata Mangeshkar among her fans.

In the video Parineeti posted, she could be seen singing while seated on her green sofa in a beautiful silk suit and salwar. She gets into her flow with the song and adds her own little tweaks to it. The video caught the attention of her fans and their comments came pouring in with them expressing their love for the Meri Pyaari Bindu actor’s voice.

One fan said that now it’s Parineeti’s task to give them all a new singing video once a week. Another commented Omg mind is blown, astoundingly amazing. Even the Punjabi singer, Harrdy Sandhu commented Kamaal (amazing) on her post.

However, this is not the first time that Parineeti Chopra has shared her singing with her fans. A few months ago, she shared a video of her sitting on the floor of a dubbing studio and singing the song Tu Jhoom which was originally sung by Abida Parveen and Naseebo Lal. She captioned this video saying that sometimes the best moments happen spontaneously, went to a dubbing studio, and couldn’t resist the urge to sing one of her all-time favorite songs.

As for her personal life, she had just gotten engaged to politician Raghav Chadha a few months ago. Besides this, she was last seen in Uunchai opposite Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher and Boman Irani. She will be seen in the upcoming movie The Great Indian Rescue with Akshay Kumar.

Veteran actor Mushtaq Khan, who appeared in several Hindi films and was particularly remembered for his role in the 2007 comedy Welcome, has died at the age of 56.

Khan was known for playing supporting characters across Hindi cinema and had worked in films spanning several decades. His role as Balu in Welcome remains among his best-known performances.

Mushtaq Khan’s film career

Mushtaq Khan appeared in a wide range of films during his career. His filmography included Aashiqui, Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, Gopi Kishan, Krantiveer, Raja, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Jodi No. 1 and Hera Pheri.

He also featured in more recent films including Stree 2, Gadar 2, Baby John, Dhoom Dhaam and Jaat. His filmography lists acting work continuing into 2026.

In Welcome, Khan played Balu, a supporting character in the comedy starring Akshay Kumar, Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor and other prominent actors.

Khan’s career also included television work, with his credits spanning a wide range of acting roles over the years.

Mushtaq Khan dies at 56

The actor’s death was reported on September 24, 2026. Reports said Khan had been undergoing treatment after being diagnosed with liver cancer and had been hospitalised for around 15 days. Further details surrounding his death were awaited in the initial reports.

Mushtaq Khan was 56. IMDb lists his date of birth as December 31, 1969.

The newborn is the couple’s second daughter. Deepika and Ranveer became parents for the first time in September 2024, when they welcomed their daughter Dua.
