Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, the TV actor, will be competing for the BB 16 trophy against Shalin Bhanot, Shiv Thakare, MC Stan, and Archana Gautam.

If reports are to be believed, Bigg Boss 16 has already got its top 3 which includes Priyanka Chahar, Shiv Thakare, and MC Stan. However, the top 3 will only be finalised once the show premiers on Colors TV.

Meanwhile, Choudhary emerged as one of the most popular contestants of Bigg Boss 16. She started her journey with her best friend and co-actor Ankit Gupta. Post his eviction, the actor emerged as the strongest among all the contestants.

Time and again the host Salman Khan raised plaudits for Chahar during Weekend Ka Vaar episodes. If reports are to be believed, Khan has offered her a film project under his production house.

Bigg Boss 16 recently evicted Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia due to fewer votes. Post her eviction, the actor was spotted partying with Sumbul Touqeer and singing along to the Bigg Boss 16 anthem.

Bad Newz social media review: Vicky Kaushal’s charisma lifts predictable rom-com; Triptii Dimri falls short

The chemistry between Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri is not anything remarkable; also, the film fades while trying to align its relationship dynamics with its plot mechanics.

“Bad Newz” is not a washout completely, but neither does it come any closer to being the riot one as expects it to be. Directed by Anand Tiwari and written by Ishita Moitra and Tarun Dudeja, the film indeed comes up with a comic premise about two dads and a mom expecting twins due to some sort of unique fertility situation called hetero-paternal superfecundation.

But the execution really lacks that required spark to entertain. With a few sparkling moments, the interminable length and complete lack of surprises drain the freshness out of the fun. The chemistry between Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri is not anything remarkable; also, the film fades while trying to align its relationship dynamics with its plot mechanics.

The central plot twist, relating to a paternity test and a gynecologist’s prognosis, is interesting but becomes very predictable soon after it is revealed. Interesting is the concept of hetero-paternal superfecundation, clearly taken from the 2016 TV movie “Double Mommy,” but certainly not one on which to hang a film.

Done for a quirky narrative twist, it feels basically like a disorganized mix of comic elements, much like food references throughout. Vicky Kaushal does charm through his performance, but he, too, cannot rise above the flaws of this film. The female lead, Triptii Dimri, fails to emote the intensity behind her character’s emotions, which affects the impact of this film.

The film’s final act is overlong, and it does drag along, shifting from being a comedy to something serious, without much resolution, and then concludes in a series of emotional and moral revelations that seem quite forced and dragged out. What seemed like an interesting setup in “Bad Newz” turns out to be a light snack rather than a satisfactory feast, lacking real humour and substance for it to be truly memorable.

Scheduled for release by the end of the year, Viduthalai Part 2 marks the conclusion of the two-part adaptation of Jeyamohan’s poignant short story Thunaivan, produced by Elfred Kumar and Vetrimaaran. The film not only promises to entertain but also aims to leave a lasting impact with its exploration of complex characters. As anticipation builds, fans eagerly await the culmination of this cinematic journey, promising to be as riveting as it is resonant.

Perumal Vaathiyaar shared the two posters on X (formerly known as Twitter), while Vijay wrote, “The beginning of a new chapter begins with Viduthalai 2, directed by #VVetriMaaran. First Look is Out #ValourAndLove, an @ilaiyaraaja musical.” In the first poster, Vijay is depicted screaming in the middle of a field, holding a machete in his hand, while the second poster presents a softer scene, featuring Vijay pushing a bicycle through serene fields with Manju Warrier by his side.

Building on the success of its predecessor, Viduthalai Part 2 aims to further unravel Perumal’s complex character and his journey, promising to captivate audiences with its depth and emotional resonance. The film also sees the return of essential actors such as Soori, Rajeev Menon, Bhavani Sre, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Chetan reprising their roles.

In the most recent episode of Bigg Boss OTT 3, an intense verbal clash unfolded between contestants Sai Ketan Rao and Lovekesh Kataria, sending shockwaves among viewers. The incident commenced innocuously enough with Lovekesh making a passing comment about another contestant, only to be swiftly challenged by Sai for unwarranted interference. What began as a mere disagreement quickly snowballed into a fiery argument within the confines of the notorious reality show.

Tensions reached a boiling point when Sai, in a fit of vexation, hurled a piece of Bigg Boss property in Lovekesh’s direction, intensifying the already charged atmosphere. Sai’s subsequent shirt removal and aggressive approach towards Lovekesh alarmed onlookers, but prompt intervention from Ranvir Shorey averted the situation from escalating into a physical altercation.

The public outcry following the ruckus was palpable as citizens took to social media to express divergent opinions. While some defended Sai Ketan, attributing his reaction to Lovekesh’s provocation, others rebuked both contestants for their use of abusive language and aggressive demeanour. This discord not only shed light on varying perceptions of acceptable conduct in a reality show environment but also underscored the blurred lines between entertainment and conflict.

As tensions simmered within the Bigg Boss house post-incident, the repercussions of this heated exchange are anticipated to reverberate through the contestants in the days ahead. The incident, stirring a frenzy of commentary from spectators and critics alike, serves as a poignant reminder of the emotional rollercoaster and social intricacies inherent in the realm of reality television.
