Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday is no less than a festival for his fans. After two years of muted celebrations due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Pathaan actor celebrated his birthday with his fans in Mumbai. King Khan attended an SRK Day event on November 2, which was hosted at St. Andrews College.

Several videos and photos of the superstar celebrating his 57th birthday are going viral on social media. In one of the videos, Shah Rukh Khan is seen cutting the three-tier crown cake with S, R, K written on each tier. The actor donned a white t-shirt and black printed jacket and complemented his look with black sunglasses.

Another video that is doing rounds on social media from the SRK Day Event is him grooving to his popular song Chaiyya Chaiyya from his film Dil Se.

Shah Rukh Khan also did his signature pose for his fans on the stage. The actor also interacted with his fans and clicked selfies.

Like every year, Shah Rukh Khan made a starry appearance for his fans from his Mannat balcony. Sharing the selfie on Instagram with fans in the background, the actor wrote It’s so lovely to live in front of the sea… the sea of love that spreads all around me on my birthday….thank you. Grateful for making me feel so special….& happy.

In order to make his birthday more special, fans flooded in with birthday wishes for the DDLJ actor. His daughter, Suhana, wished SRK by sharing a childhood photo with him.

On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan will be next seen in Pathaan, co-starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. The film is slated to hit the theatres on January 25, 2023. He will also be seen in Jawan, which will release on June 2, 2023, and Dunki which will hit the silver screen on December 22, 2023.

Amitabh Bachchan to receive Lata Deenanath Mangeshkar award, AR Rahman, Randeep Hooda to be honored

Amitabh Bachchan, with multiple awards to his name, is a household name in the Indian cinema industry. He has been invited to receive the Lata Deenanath Mangeshkar Puruskar soon, which would add another feather to his cap.

Every year, this prestigious award is given to a person who has made a significant contribution to the country, its citizens, and society. AR Rahman and Randeep Hooda are also named along with him to accept the award.

The Mangeshkar family announced in a press release that Amitabh Bachchan would get the esteemed Lata Deenanath Mangeshkar Award. This award honours those who have had a significant influence on society and was established in memory of Lata Mangeshkar, who passed away in 2022.

On April 24, the day they pay tribute to their late father, theater and music icon Deenanath Mangeshkar, 81-year-old Bachchan will get the award.

The award was previously given to Asha Bhosle, the sister of Lata Mangeshkar, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2023. The press announcement also revealed that A R Rahman, for his outstanding contributions to Indian music, will be awarded the Master Deenanath Mangeshkar Puraskar. In addition, Randeep Hooda will receive the Vishesh Puraskar in recognition of his outstanding contributions to film.

The award for exceptional social work will also be awarded to the non-profit organization, the Deepstambh Foundation Manobal. Furthermore, the drama Galib, which is produced by Malhar and Vajreshwari under the Ashtavinayak Prakashit banner, is going to be awarded the title of finest drama of the year.

The Master Deenanath Mangeshkar Puraskar (Vagvilasini Puraskar) will be given to Marathi author Manjiri Phadke in recognition of her outstanding contributions to literature. In addition, Ashok Saraf and Padmini Kolhapure will be awarded the Master Deenanath Mangeshkar Puraskar for their outstanding contributions to the film industry.

Other awardees include Atul Parchure for his commitment to theater and drama, Bhau Torsekar for his editing services, and Roopkumar Rathod for his exceptional contributions to music. According to the press release, Asha Bhosle will give the awards to the meritorious honorees, while Hridaynath Mangeshkar will preside over the event.

Aamir Khan had earlier visited China to promote his movie Dangal and 3 Idiots, which was likewise quite successful film across the country.

Additionally, Vikrant said that the makers of 12th Fail had been preparing for its distribution in China for some time. He also said that the film will be released in China in more than 20,000 screens.

He said, after several months of development, the news has finally surfaced, and everyone is aware that the film will be released in China. In China, there is a great appetite for Hindi or Indian films. Over 20,000 screens are available for 12th Fail. The quantity of screens is a result of China’s strong entertainment industry, he said.
