Shyam Benegal undergoes dialysis at home after kidney failure

According to the reports, Shyam said he is not feeling well for a long time and the doctors have advised him to rest.

National-award-winning director Shyam Benegal has been undergoing dialysis at home after body his kidneys fail. According to the reports, the health of the 88-year-old director is deteriorating, and due to this, he is not able to go to the hospital for treatment.

Reportedly, the doctors have visited the residence of Junoon director for his treatment. The 18-time national award winner has shared his health update.

According to the reports, Shyam said he is not feeling well for a long time and the doctors have advised him to rest. He further said he is undergoing dialysis at home and is kept under medical observation.

The staff of Shyam’s office said that he was doing good in the past but he hasn’t been showing up to the office for the last 2-3 days. They said the Filmfare award winner is continuously planning for the projects.

As per the reports, the Padma Bhushan winner is currently making a film titled Mujeeb: The Making of a Nation. The film is based on the life of the first President of Bangladesh Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The film is jointly produced by the Film Division of India and Bangladesh.

Benegal is the current president of the Federation of Film Societies of India. He owns a production company called Sahyadri Films. He has authored three books based on his own films: The Churning with Vijay Tendulkar (1984), based on Manthan; Satyajit Ray (1988), based on his biographical film, Satyajit Ray; and The Marketplace (1989), which was based on Mandi.

Shyam Benegal has received several accolades, including 18 National Film Awards, a Filmfare Award and a Nandi Award. In 2005, he was honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, India’s highest award in the field of cinema.

In 1976, he was honoured by the Government of India with the Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian honour of the country, and in 1991, he was awarded Padma Bhushan, the third-highest civilian honour for his contributions in the field of arts.

Actress Sonnalli Seygall of Pyaar Ka Punchnama is getting hitched to her longtime beau Asesh L Sajnani in a private wedding ceremony today. With a close-knit mehendi ceremony on Monday, the pre-wedding celebrations got underway.

For the wedding, Seygall donned a full-sleeved blouse with a blush pink saree. Seygall walked beneath the floral canopy that one of her close friends and filmmaker Luv Ranjan was holding. What caught the eye in the dreamy wedding was her special entry with her pet dog, Bounty. Seygall came down the aisle with her dog Bounty, who was dressed in ethnic wear.

 A number of celebrities, including Kartik Aaryan, Luv Ranjan, Shama Sikander, Chahat Khanna, Karan V Grover, Ridhima Pandit, Shenaz Treasurywala, Mandira Bedi, Raai Laxmi, and others, have already gathered at the location where Sonnalli and Ashesh will tie the knot this afternoon in a gurudwara in Mumbai. All of the wedding guests, including close friends from the industry, were attired in ivory and white.

The actor will host the reception party just a day after her wedding, on June 8, as per the sources. The actress went on her bachelorette trip this year in May, as per the sources.

Sonnalli Seygall played a prominent role in Pyaar Ka Punchnama which was also her debut film, directed by Luv Ranjan and starring Kartik Aaryan, Nushratt Bharuccha, Sunny Singh, Ishita Raj Sharma, Divyenndu, and Raayo S Bakhirta. She has since appeared in a number of other films, including Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. She last appeared in Jai Mummy Di, alongside Sunny Singh. She was seen in the web series Anamika, Out of Order, and Illegal – Justice. Her husband Ashesh Sajnani, owns a hotel. Ashesh and Sonnalli allegedly dated for five years while maintaining a secretive relationship.

After the success of Bhool Bhulaiya 2, Kartik Aaryan reunites with Kiara Advani in ‘Satya Prem Ki Katha’ directed by Sameer Vidwans and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The chemistry of Kartik and Kiara floored the audiences in Bhool Bhulaiya 2 and the two will try to re-create their magic on the screen once again in Satya Prem Ki Katha. Prabhas Adipurush is one of the most anticipated films of the year, and his fans can’t keep calm now. On June 6, the makers of the film has organsied a pre-release event for the second trailer launch in Tirupati. Taking to Twitter his fans have tweeted thousands of tweets for #AdipurushPreReleaseEvent, which is trending on Twitter.  The film will release in five languages, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, on June 16 in theaters.

At the Sri Venkateswara University Stadium, the producers have built a large stage, and in the presence of the main guest for the event, Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, the event will start tomorrow.

The first trailer revolved around Shri Ram’s feelings whereas the second one will explore the film’s realm of intense action. According to a source familiar with the project, the epic conflict between Lord Ram and his antagonist, Raavan, will be the main emphasis of the trailer.

Adipurush is a mythological film based on the Ramayana, an ancient Indian epic, which is also anticipated to cost more than any other Indian movie has ever cost. The movie reportedly had a large budget of Rs 500 crore.

The film has been written and directed by Om Raut while it has been co-produced by Bhushan Kumar.

In September 2020 it was announced that Prabhas is playing Lord Rama, whose character name was eventually revealed to be Raghava. Saif Ali Khan, who previously played a villain in Raut’s Tanhaji, has been cast in the character Ravana as Lankesh. It was rumoured in November 2020 that Kriti Sanon had been cast to play the character of Sita after rumours of Anushka Shetty, Anushka Sharma, Kiara Advani, and Keerthy Suresh being contacted for the role. Her presence in the movie was confirmed by the producers four months later in March 2021. Lakshmana, Lord Rama’s younger brother, is being portrayed by Sunny Singh, according to Bhushan Kumar.
