Fashion stylist Umesh Jivnani passes away at 46 due to cardiac arrest
He is survived by his mother, elder brother, sister and a young niece.

Popular fashion designer Umesh Jivnani passed away in the early hours of Saturday, leaving the fashion industry stunned. The fashion writer and photographer died due to cardiac arrest at his home in Bandra West, Mumbai. He was 46.
He is survived by his mother, elder brother, sister and a young niece. Jivnani was an alumnus of HR College of Commerce and Economics in Mumbai.
Jivnani has worked with several Bollywood celebrities in his long-spanning career as a fashion designer. He was also a columnist with Hindustan Times, Free Press Journal, and DNA.
Bollywood and fashion industry are deeply saddened and shocked at the sudden demise of the fashion designer.
Photographer Vickky Idnaani posted a series of photos with Umesh on Facebook as he bid goodbye to his friend. He wrote, Umesh Jivnani, the artist! We just had a long call after your London trip, but the dinner and hugs are pending. Thanks for touching my life and your own special. Your last few posts on social media are about time standing still and the end of an era with the Queen going away. Om Shanti.

Fashion designer Varun Bahl also uploaded a photo of his close friend Umesh Jivnani and wrote Rest in peace my dearest Umesh … until we meet again.
Film write, author and creator of television serials and movies Mushtaq Sheikh also shared his deepest condolences. Sharing a photo of Umesh on Twitter, he tweeted Umesh Jivnani my dear friend is no more. Numb. Can’t believe this heartbreaking news!
Umesh Jivnani’s cremation will be held at Santacruz Electric Crematorium on September 26 at 2:30 pm.

The video was jointly posted by Karisma and Madhuri on her Instagram handle with caption Dance of envy with a strike over it and the word friendship was written instead.
The dance of envy was an instrumental song from their film Dil To Pagal Hai. Madhuri and Karisma starred together in Dil To Pagal Hai along with Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar in a cameo appearance.
Comments on video were diverse as ever, along with the fans, friends from the industry also roped in to comment on the video, Karisma sister and Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor Khan wrote the OG superstars, Bhumi Pednekar wrote icons.

She featured in several hit films like Dil Toh Pagal Hai, Judwa and Biwi No 1. She also starred in critically acclaimed films like Zubeida and Fiza. Her Last film was in 2012 titled Dangerous Ishq.

On Tuesday evening, during the trailer launch of Smeep Kang directed Carry On Jatta 3, Khan and Sharma shared the stage as they attended the event on a special invitation from the makers of the film.

It was the trailer launch of the film Carry On Jatta 3 in Mumbai, where a simple question by Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan to celebrity comedian Kapil Sharma threw visuals of both hugging each other graciously.
On Tuesday evening, during the trailer launch of Smeep Kang directed Carry On Jatta 3, Khan and Sharma shared the stage as they attended the event on a special invitation from the makers of the film.
On the stage during interactions, Khan said he has been spending more time with his family these days and that he had been watching The Kapil Sharma Show for a long time now. Khan praised Sharma saying he has become a big fan of his comedy. He also shared that he had called Sharma to appreciate his comic work.
Kapil Sharma revealed that he had invited Khan three times, However the actor had been unavailable due to some reason. Sharma replied that it would be his good fortune to invite Khan on the show. Khan then said that he would come to the show 100% but he would not be able to come at the time of a movie release. He would surely come any other time to entertain the audience.
Sharma had no words for the superstar and hugged him showing his love for him. Khan’s last film was Lal Singh Chadha which released in August 2022.
The actor also had a cameo in the film Salaam Venky starring Kajol in the lead role. He is also producing a film titled Champions. Speaking about his upcoming projects Khan said that he will feature in a film when he is emotionally ready. The 3-idiots actor last year parted ways with her former wife Kiran Rao ending 15 years long relationship.
Carry on Jatta 3 is a Punjabi comedy movie which is the third part of the Carry on Jatta.
