Vikram Vedha: Here’s why makers of Vijay Sethupathi starrer want to cast Hrithik Roshan in the Hindi remake
The Hindi remake of 2017 Tamil action-thriller, starring Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan is scheduled to hit the silver screens on September 30, 2022.
Vikram Vedha is a Tamil film which released in 2017. Starring R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi, the action thriller was written and directed by Pushkar and Gayathri. And now the makers are coming up with it’s Hindi remake starring Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan.
And recently, during a press meet, the makers opened up about their idea of casting Hrithik for Sethupathi’s role. Gayathri said, “Hrithik Roshan was the first actor to call and congratulate us after the 2017 release. He really liked the film and called us to appreciate it. You see, Hrithik understands the soul and depth of Vikram Vedha.”
Gayathri further said, “Hrithik Roshan is a talented actor, and he has been incredible so far. One thing that I really like about him, is that despite being a big star there’s no ego involved in case of disagreements. Even when he needs clarifications, it is never about the star of the film. Roshan is extremely down to earth.”
The action-thriller inspired by the Indian folktale of Vikram Betaal, deals with a police inspector Vikram (Saif Ali Khan) and his obsession to capture and kill a gangster, Vedha (Hrithik Roshan). However, things turn unlikely when Vedha voluntarily surrender and tells Vikram three stories which totally change his perception towards good and evil.
The makers of Hrithik Rishan-Saif Ali Khan starrer have shot a part in Abu Dhabi and now the team is headed towards the city of Nawabs, Lucknow. “We shot a few chunks of Vikram Vedha in Abu Dhabi, and now the next schedule is planned at the the streets of Lucknow,” film maker Gayathri said.
The makers have not yet revealed the other names of the star cast but Hrithik Roshan’s new look deserves a stair. Vikram Vedha is scheduled to hit the silver screens on September 30, 2022.

The founder and CEO of OYO, Ritesh Agarwal, has been added as a judge on the upcoming season of the reality television programme Shark Tank India. The new shark made the announcement on X, previously Twitter, and Shark Tank India’s official Instagram profile also posted a video.

A beloved television series by the same name and two films make up the Khichdi franchise. The first season’s story revolves around the Parekh family, a Gujarati family that reside in an old mansion, and it aired on Star Plus on September 10, 2002. It was followed by the Instant Khichdi second season, which aired from July to August 2005.
The second season of it premiered in 2018 and chronicled the family’s misadventures. The same cast members appeared in Khichdi: The Movie, a franchise-based movie that was released in 2010. It received favourable reviews soon after its release.
