The Kashmir Files: Ruckus in Bihar Assembly over Vivek Agnihotri’s film, MLAs rip tickets
The State Assembly was adjourned till 2 pm after the Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) Liberation or CPI-ML members created a ruckus and ripped the film tickets.

Vivek Agnihotri’s helmed The Kashmir Files triggered several debates and political rows ever since its release on March 11. On Monday, Bihar Assembly witnessed a clash between MLAs over the controversial film.
The State Assembly was adjourned till 2 pm after the Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) Liberation or CPI-ML members created a ruckus and ripped the film tickets. As per reports, Speaker Vijay Kumar Sinha urged the members to take their seats. However, the protests did not stop and led to the adjournment of the House.
A day after the state government declared the film tax-free on March 16, Deputy chief minister Tar Kishore Prasad invited all legislators to watch The Kashmir Files. In the Assembly, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) members first refused the tickets for the film. Later, the CPI-ML members ripped the tickets and protested against the film. Mehboob Alam said that the ticket is hatred as it targets Muslims.

The Kashmir Files was released on March 11 and is based on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from Kashmir. It features Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi, Darshan Kumar, and Mithun Chakraborty in the lead roles. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah applauded the film and urged the citizens to watch it. Several BJP-ruling states including Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat declared it tax-free.
The film continues to rule the box office and has crossed 250 crores at the global box office. It also reportedly earned Rs 8 crore on Day 17 in India.
Meanwhile, West Bengal Assembly on Monday also witnessed chaos after both BJP and TMC MLAs indulged in fist fighting. A video of the incident went viral wherein MLAs could be seen exchanging blows at each other. BJP leaders including Amit Malviya and spokesperson Shehza Jai Hind can be seen locked within the ruckus.

A video of a Japanese girl speaking Bengali fluently went viral in 2020. In a recent Instagram video, content creator Prashant Kumar can be seen conversing in Hindi with a Korean man by the name of Charlie.
On social media, a video showing Charlie’s Bihari accent has gained significant traction and the social media users are praising Charlie for his proficiency in Hindi.
This video has gained lakhs of views across internet. One user wrote speaking Hindi itself is a big deal for a foreigner but speaking in a Bihari accident is totally a different level.
Currently, Charlie is on a tour of Patna and is amazed to see the city’s progress. He believes Patna is more cleaner than New York.
Interestingly, Charlie was living in Patna since he was 2 years old. In one of his videos on Instagram, he talks about his upbringing in Indian culture.
He wrote he was brought in Patna till the age of 20 used to speak Hindi as natural as an Indian and adopted the Indian accent while speaking English. Charlie wrote, during his childhood he used to feel shy and uncomfortable to speak English.

Odisha train accident: 101 bodies still to be identified, 200 injured undergoing treatment
According to Divisional Railway Manager of the Eastern Central Railways, Rinkesh Roy, almost 200 patients are still being treated in various hospitals throughout the state of Odisha.

In the tragic triple train accident of Odisha, which took the lives of 278 people, living over 1000 injured. Out of 278 who died, 101 bodies are still to be identified, according to the officials.
According to Divisional Railway Manager of the Eastern Central Railways, Rinkesh Roy, almost 200 patients are still being treated in various hospitals throughout the state of Odisha.
The toll stayed at 275 since the Odisha government did not modify it. Rinkesh Roy responded figures do change over time when questioned about it.
The number of death had previously been put at 288. On Sunday, the Odisha government changed it to 275 after admitting that some remains were tallied twice. The chief minister of West Bengal and a former minister of the railway, Mamata Banerjee, disputed the statistics, claiming that 61 residents of her state died and another 182 were still missing. The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) also said, 80 out of the 193 total bodies were recognised, and 55 of them were given to the relevant families.
However, train movement resumed late Sunday night with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, who has been sleeping at the site to oversee restoration work, and with other senior officials. This was 51 hours after the triple train collision and barely five hours after the damaged rails were rebuilt.
The horrific accident took place on June 2, when the Shalimar-Chennai Central Coromandel Express was coming from Shalimar to Chennai when it collided with a halted goods train on the adjacent track, resulting in one of the deadliest rail accidents in the nation. The rear carriages of the Coromandel Express then drifted off onto the third track.
The last two coaches of the Bengaluru-Howrah Express, which was coming by at the same time, were knocked down by a few coaches of the Coromandel Express.

Security beefed up at Golden Temple on Operation Blue Star’s 39th anniversary
On June 6, 1984, the Indian Army entered into the Golden Temple to remove Jarnail Singh Bhindarwale and his followers who had sought inside the Golden Temple complex, the news spread that Bhindarwale had hidden huge amount of arms and ammunitions inside the complex.

On the occasion of the 39th anniversary of Operation Blue Star, the security has been beefed up at the Golden Temple and all across Amritsar city as preventive measure for any unwanted situation.
DCP Law and Order Parminder Singh Bhandal said security forces in uniform as well as in civil has also been deployed across the city and inside the temple.
Bhandal said the decision is taken to prevent any kind of disturbance in the law and order situation in the city adding that large number of police personnel have been posted at different locations in the city.
Earlier Additional DGP Arpit Shukla had appealed people to maintain peace in Punjab and strict action will be taken against those involving in spreading rumours.
The prayers at the Gurdwara is going as per the usual course.

Operation Blue Star was the codename of the military operation of the Indian Army, which was ordered by then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
Reports say, hundreds of civiilians including soldiers lost their lives in this operation.
Months later on October 31, 1984, Gandhi was assassinated at her official residence in Delhi by two of her personal Sikh bodyguards, who fired around 30 bullets on her.
Earlier in the day, protestors were seen raising pro-Khalistan slogans with Bhindarwale’s posters at the Golden Temple.
