Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is trending all over the internet today because of his new car. The man who is known for his aam aadmi image is often seen travelling in his Wagon R or Alto. However, upon visiting West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s residence on Friday, the Aam Aadmi Party convener ditched his Wagon R and opted for a Land Cruiser.

Tweeple were quick to notice his new car and one of the users commented, Arvind sir gaadi badi mast hai …wo wagon R, wo bus, wo choti gadiyon ka kya hua sir Kolkata mein hain nahi kya?? Another commented, Suzuki Wagon-R to MG Gloster. Jana tha Japan, magar phonch gaye Cheen.

A third user wrote WagonR Badi ho gyi, while another commented Ye wagon R kabse SUV form me ane lagi? Another quipped, Wagon R ko bech kar usmein thode se paise daal kae nayi gaadi le li.

People also mocked the man running behind Kejriwal’s car holding bouquets. One user wrote, whenever you feel low on life, remember that guy who ran behind the Kejriwal car with a bouquet. Another wrote, hehe the guy with the flower bouquets!

People were also quick to point out Arvind Kejriwal’s statement from 2013 of not taking any privilege of using any government property or cars if he comes to power. One of the users wrote, expensive cars with security! People tend to forget that he didn’t want all this in 2014. Another wrote, Kejriwal in his 2013 Election affidavit promised, he won’t take any government bungalow, red beacon on his car and police security.

Another user said we don’t have any problem if Kejriwal travels in this car but Dikkat ye hai ki Kal ko agar koi imaandar aadmi rajneeti mein ye bol kar aane ki koshish karega ki main sada jeevan jiyunga… to log ab uspar bhi bharosa nahin karenge.

When a family pet dog barked, a man living in the neighbourhood attacked three family members with an iron rod and injured them.

According to the reports, the young man named Rakshit lives with his family in the Paschim Vihar area. Dharamvir Dahiya, a man living in his neighbourhood street, was going in front of his house on Sunday morning. During this time, his pet dog was sitting at the gate of the house. The dog barked at Dharamvir and some street dogs going after him, which made Dharamvir very angry. He grabbed the tail of Rakshit’s pet dog, started beating him and threw the dog away.

After watching this, Rakshit came out and started refusing Dharamvir. Rakshit alleges that Dharamvir got angry and hit his dog with a brick which hit Rakshit, after which Dharamvir went home and came back with an iron rod. During that time, Rakshit’s maternal uncle and aunt also came out of the house. Dharamvir first hit an iron rod in the dog’s head as soon as he came back, and then attacked Rakshit’s maternal uncle, due to which he fell on the spot.

The Delhi Metro Railway Corporation (DMRC) on Monday informed on Twitter that the services have been delayed on a section of the Yellow Line due to a passenger on track. The yellow line metro connects Delhi’s Samaypur Badli to Gurugram’s Huda City Center.

DMRC shared a tweet in which it said that the services have been delayed from Central Secretariat to Green Park due to a passenger on track at Jor Bagh.

As soon as the DMRC tweeted about the delay in the services on the yellow line, the passengers took to the comment section to share their experiences and the trouble they have been facing for a long time.

One passenger commented that no train is going beyond the Central Secretariat. All chaos here. Deboarded all passengers here. Another wrote that we have been waiting for like 20 mins. And asked for de-board twice due to one stupid person.

People stranded inside the metro stations as well as outside. Not a start you want for a week, wrote another.

Passengers are having a rough time due to the delay in the metro services as one of the users shared his concern that it took him 40 minutes to reach Vidhan Sabha from Azadpur when it usually just takes 10 minutes.

Yet another wrote, that the metro services are delayed on the entire yellow line. From Kashmere Gate to Huda City Centre as announced on platform loudspeakers.

This is not the first time that the metro service has been delayed because of the passenger. On Thursday, the violet line faced a delay in services after a 50-year-old man jumped in front of a train at Moolchand metro station at 5:04 am.

The police rushed to the station as soon as they received the information about the incident. The person identified as Mahendar jumped when the train reached platform number 1 and got injured. He has been shifted to AIIMS Trauma Centre.

The services were delayed from Kashmere Gate to Badarpur Border. Violet Line connects Kashmere Gate in Delhi and Raja Nahar Singh (Ballabgarh) in Haryana.

Rain has knocked in the capital Delhi. According to the weather forecast, there has been a change in the weather since night and most parts of Delhi are cloudy. In some parts of Delhi, it is raining lightly, since Thursday morning.

It is raining in Delhi’s Dwarka, while it is cloudy in Ghaziabad, the rain is expected at any time here. The Orange alert has been issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) for Delhi, and surrounding areas today.

On June 30, there will be a round of rain with strong thunderstorms throughout the day. The India Meteorological Department has said that in the next two hours, there may be rain and thunder in many areas including Delhi.

Effect of rain on mountains

According to the latest information from the India Meteorological Department, there will be heavy rain and strong winds in the mountains today, the effect of which will be seen in the capital Delhi as well. It will rain all day in Delhi on June 30, which will bring down the maximum temperature.

On Wednesday, the humidity in Delhi during the day made people very upset. The Safdarganj observatory recorded a temperature of 40.9 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the maximum temperature was 40.4 in Mungeshpur, 42.1 in Najafgarh, 42.4 in Ayannagar, 39.8 in Lodhi Road, 41.6 in Palam, and 40.7 degrees Celsius in Pitampura.

Orange alert for Delhi-NCR

The Orange alert has been issued by the India Meteorological Department not only for Delhi but also for the adjoining areas of Delhi on June 30, 2022. A warning has been issued by the IMD regarding heavy rains in places like Ghaziabad, Gautam Budh Nagar, Gurugam, Faridabad, etc.

According to the Meteorological Department, intermittent rain will continue throughout the day in Delhi-NCR on Thursday.

After June 30 and July 1, the weather in Delhi is expected to be clear once again on July 2 and 3. However, it will be cloudy and with two days of rain, the weather will remain cool. On July 4 and 5 again rain is expected.
