In his career, Dharmendra has done films of probably all genres, from rom-com, action-thriller to emotionally dramatic movies, he excelled and owned the films he did. This was one of the main reasons, he was loved by the critics and the masses both. Many of his blockbuster films, such as Sholay, Mera Gaon Mera Desh and Dharam-Veer, had broken the box-office records at that time.
