27 Indian fishermen arrested by Sri Lankan Navy for violation of International Maritime Boundary Line
About 373 boats from Mandabam and 500 boats from Rameshwaram had gone into the sea on Saturday. According to reports the Sri Lankan Navy chased off fishermen who were involved in Fishing activities during the night hours. Five boats which carried 27 fishermen were allegedly captured for violating the IMBL.
