Actor Jacqueline Fernandez has been given relief by a Delhi court in the Rs 200 crore money laundering case involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekar. The court decided that she could travel abroad to fulfill her obligations without needing to first obtain permission from the court.

The Patiala House Court modified her bail terms and ordered the actress to give three days’ notice to both the court and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) before leaving the country.

She has to provide complete travel information, including the nation she will visit, the length of her trip, and other information like her lodging, phone number, etc.

The court noticed that Jacqueline Fernandez frequently travels abroad because she works as an actor in the Indian film business. It was noticed that she sometimes needed to leave the country rapidly in order to take advantage of potential career chances.

Last year, Fernandes requested permission from the court to travel abroad, but the court denied her request. Jacqueline Fernandez was indeed temporarily arrested by immigration officials at Mumbai International Airport in December 2022 in order to prevent her from leaving the country as a result of an Enforcement Directorate look-out circular issued against her.

Sukesh Chandrashekhar is charged with extorting cash from politicians, businesspeople, and celebrities. According to media sources, the ED also believes that Jacqueline Fernandez received a considerable sum of money that Sukesh allegedly misappropriated from the wife of a businessman.

Meanwhile, she was given permission to travel overseas from May 25 to June 12 by a Delhi court on May 23. In a request to Special Judge Shailendra Malik, Fernandez stated that she needed to travel to Abu Dhabi from May 25 to May 27 in order to attend the IIFA Awards.

The court granted bail to Fernandez, who is a suspect in the case but wasn’t detained, on November 15 of last year.
