Bengaluru: 22-year-old man stabbed to death by three youths including two Muslims for not speaking Urdu

Chandru, a 22-year-old boy, was allegedly beaten to death by three other youngsters for not speaking Urdu. On Monday, April 4, 2022, this ruthless incident occurred. The most shocking part of this incident was that it took place at the JJ Nagar police station boundaries in Bengaluru.

The victim was identified as Chandru who was local, living at Jaimaruthinagar. On Monday, April 4, 2022, he went to meet his friends and attended the party with them, according to the reports. He went out for the food at 2:30 am.

His bike collided with another bike as he drove through Haleguddadahalli. A dispute with Chandru was picked up by the bike rider, who was identified as Shahid Pasha. When the accused attacked Chandru with a knife whose name was Shahid Pasha, the argument turned violent.

Shahid Pasha was reportedly accompanied by a few other conspirators, according to the reports. After Chandru spoke to them in Kannada rather than Urdu, the crowd battered and attacked him. Chandru, who had been brutally beaten, was taken to the hospital, where he eventually died.

Chandru was severely attacked by the accused Shahid Pasha and his companions, who were seen waving knives and swords in the air, while the incident was caught on CCTV camera. Chandru (victim) was seen in critical condition. In the CCTV, it was seen that Chandru was requesting them to let him go.

Shahid Pasha (21 years old), Shahid Goli (22 years old), and a juvenile, all have been detained for beating Chandru to death. All three of them were arrested by the police based on CCTV video and information acquired at the crime site.

Bengaluru Police Commissioner, Kamal Pant tweeted that Shahid attacked Chandru in the right thigh and that the perpetrators fled away from the location. Chandru belonged to the Christian community, according to the police commissioner, and had gone to a restaurant on Mysore Road with his friend Simon Raj.

According to the police, all three suspects have been charged with murder and put into jail for further investigation.

A viral story of a man finding his partner because of Bengaluru’s traffic has been taking the internet world by storm as a Reddit user on his Reddit account shared the story of how his friendship took a turn towards romance when he faced traffic while sitting next to his friend who is now his partner.

In the Reddit post, the user unfolded how he met his wife near the Sony World Signal in Karnataka’s Bengaluru. He further added that one day when he was driving her now wife, who was at the time his friend, home, they came across heavy traffic due to the construction of the Ejipura flyover. The user and her friend at the time, now his wife, got annoyed by the stubborn traffic.

After facing the dense traffic, the user and his friend came to the realization that they were too hungry to way out and push through the traffic. Which led to the user taking a detour to go to a local restaurant which ended up being a dinner date. The user dated for a year and eloped.

The user also added that the 2.5-kilometer overpass is still under construction even after his life changed. People on Twitter while adoring the Reddit user and his girlfriend also questioned the government for the presiding issue as one user wrote that this is a pleasant story but the government. and lawmakers should take note that flyovers are taking a lot of time to get constructed.

The user also launched the government and remarked that added all their time is being used in getting MP’s and MLA’s to jump ships into their party and hence they can’t use their time to build the nation. The user also added that it is Shameful.

Despite this warm story of love escalating due to Bengaluru’s infamous traffic jams, many people from the city are still frustrated with the situation on the ground. In an effort to highlight and raise awareness about the pothole issue in Bengaluru, the people have started Geo tagging potholes and have added reviews that are sarcastic yet a small form of dissent.

Many users have geo-tagged some potholes in the city while other natives from the city are adding their reviews like must visit, top tier pothole, and more, treating it as if it is a destination rather than a hindrance on the road.

Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai tests positive for Covid-19 for second time

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai tested positive for Covid-19 on Saturday. Bommai is experiencing mild symptoms and is under home isolation.

Sharing the test results on Twitter, Bommai wrote that he has tested positive for Covid-19 with mild symptoms and has isolated himself at home. He also urged people who had come into contact with him in the last few days to get themselves tested for the novel coronavirus. He has also cancelled his trip to New Delhi.

Bommai was scheduled to visit New Delhi today for two days to take part in Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and NITI Aayog meetings. Along with this, he was supposed to meet BJP’s central leaders to discuss recent political developments.

This is the second time Basavaraj Bommai has been tested for Covid-19. Earlier, he tested positive in January this year.

Meanwhile, the Covid-19 cases in Karnataka are rising at a rapid rate. The state recorded 2,042 new Covid-19 cases and two fatalities on Friday. According to the reports, the active cases in the state stand at 11,403. The daily positivity rate in the state stands at 6.32 percent.

The email that the school received claimed that the bomb had been planted on the premises of the school.

A shocking incident has come to light where a private school in Bengaluru received a bomb threat email on Monday, which caused panic among students and teachers. The National Hill View Public School is located in the Ideal Township of Rajarajeshwarinagar in South Bengaluru.

Following the threat, the school was evacuated immediately, and the police and bomb disposal team reached the spot quickly, along with a sniffer dog. So far, nothing suspicious has been found on the school premises, said Laxman B. Nimbargi, DCP West Bengaluru.

Congress leader and Chairman of National Hill View Public School, DK Shivkumar, said he received the mail at around 8:30 am today and immediately contacted the police. He further said that he thinks the bomb threat is a hoax. The police have registered the case and a further investigation is underway.

The email that the school received claimed that the bomb had been planted on the premises of the school. The email has been sent by an unknown person.

DCP Nimbargi said the school noticed the email in the morning when they started functioning. He said there were around 1,500 students in the school who were later shifted to neighbouring schools. All the students have been evacuated safely.
