Why is there a dispute over Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Idgah Mosque?

There are claims that the Shahi Eidgah Mosque was built after demolishing some parts of the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi. The petitioner has demanded that there should be a stretch of 13.37 acres of the land be returned to the temple. The petitioners alleged that the Mughal emperor ordered the construction of the mosque over the 13.37 acres of the land after destroying a part of the temple, which shall be restored.

On Thursday, the Varanasi court pronounced a judgement on the Gyanvapi masjid filming survey and said that the filming should be done before May 17. The court also said that they need the report on May 17.
