Men scale walls of Miranda House college to gatecrash Diwali fest, students allege molestation
According to reports, the video’s origin source who uploaded the video had also alleged that the men barged into the college and hurled sexist slogans and catcalls at the students or girls at the Diwali fest.

On Saturday, the Diwali fest of Delhi University’s Miranda House college takes a sinister turn as men mount past fences and gates to gatecrash the Diwali fest. A video from Delhi University House went viral recently where some men can be seen climbing the fence and gates of the renowned college Miranda house, the women students of the college also allege molestation and harassment committed by the non-students.
In the video, 2 men can be seen mounting up the wall of Delhi’s Miranda House college as they make their way to attend the Diwali Fest organized by the college authorities. The video also shows some more men scaling past the gates of the college while the guard complacently watches.

Swati Maliwal, the chairperson of the Delhi Commission of Women, uploaded the video and also addressed that the Delhi Commission of Women is seeking to enquire about the case and have sent notices to the college authorities and the police in the matter.
According to reports, the video’s origin source who uploaded the video had also alleged that the men barged into the college and hurled sexist slogans and catcalls at the students or girls at the Diwali fest.
After the video went viral, Sagar Singh Kalsi, The Deputy commissioner of police, informed the media that on October 14 the Miranda house organized a Diwali fest which was open to all the students. Kalsi further added that due to the event being open to all, the college was overcrowded after which the college authorities had to close the gates. Some students tried to attend the festival by scaling up the fences and gates of the college.
The police authorities have filed a complaint against the men seen scaling the walls and gates of the college and have filed charges against them for trespassing. According to reports, the college authorities will also file a separate FIR in the case.

Security beefed up at Golden Temple on Operation Blue Star’s 39th anniversary
On June 6, 1984, the Indian Army entered into the Golden Temple to remove Jarnail Singh Bhindarwale and his followers who had sought inside the Golden Temple complex, the news spread that Bhindarwale had hidden huge amount of arms and ammunitions inside the complex.

On the occasion of the 39th anniversary of Operation Blue Star, the security has been beefed up at the Golden Temple and all across Amritsar city as preventive measure for any unwanted situation.
DCP Law and Order Parminder Singh Bhandal said security forces in uniform as well as in civil has also been deployed across the city and inside the temple.
Bhandal said the decision is taken to prevent any kind of disturbance in the law and order situation in the city adding that large number of police personnel have been posted at different locations in the city.
Earlier Additional DGP Arpit Shukla had appealed people to maintain peace in Punjab and strict action will be taken against those involving in spreading rumours.
The prayers at the Gurdwara is going as per the usual course.

Operation Blue Star was the codename of the military operation of the Indian Army, which was ordered by then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
Reports say, hundreds of civiilians including soldiers lost their lives in this operation.
Months later on October 31, 1984, Gandhi was assassinated at her official residence in Delhi by two of her personal Sikh bodyguards, who fired around 30 bullets on her.
Earlier in the day, protestors were seen raising pro-Khalistan slogans with Bhindarwale’s posters at the Golden Temple.

Delhi Police records statement of 12 people at WFI chief Brij Bhushan Singh’s home in UP’s Gonda
According to the specifics, the police showed up at Singh’s house to interrogate 12 persons, including the supporters, about the charges of sexual harassment against him.

The Delhi Police today reached the home of Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh. According to the specifics, the police showed up at Singh’s house to interrogate 12 persons, including the supporters, about the charges of sexual harassment against him.
The Delhi Police gathered the names, addresses, and identification cards of the witnesses at the scene for evidence.
In relation to the sexual harassment claims made against the WFI chief, 137 people have so far given statements to the Special Investigation Team (SIT). However, it was unknown if Singh was also questioned by the police at his home.
The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, which carries a maximum seven-year prison sentence upon conviction, was cited in one of the two FIRs the Delhi Police had previously filed against the WFI chief on April 28 at the Connaught Place police station.
He was charged in the FIRs that were filed in response to a Supreme Court decision under several Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections, including assaulting a lady to violate her modesty (section 354), sexual harassment (354A), and stalking (354D), all of which carry two- to three-year prison sentences.
Additionally, some of the complainants said Singh approached them while promising to help them in their jobs in exchange for sexual favours.
Singh has refuted every accusation and stated that if even one of them is found to be true, he will hang himself.
Meanwhile, yesterday wrestlers Sakhee Mallik and Bajrang Punia returned to their jobs in railways. They said, they will continue the protest but also do their jobs. This comes after meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence on Saturday night where wrestlers raise their demands against WFI chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.

A shocking video is doing round from Kanker city in Chhattisgarh, revealing a distressing incident of violence and abuse towards innocent children at an adoption centre. The Shivnagar adoption centre, which should serve as a safe haven, has turned into a house of torment. The viral video clearly depicts a woman violently pulling a child’s hair and throwing her to the ground, raising serious concerns about the safety of girls in such facilities.
Anurag Tiwari, NDTV journalist tweets the viral video stating how someone can be so barbaric, the pictures are disturbing but it is necessary that the culprit should be punished. He said there is an orphanage in Kanker, it is alleged that the person shown in the video is program manager who is showing some kind of barbarism, tagging Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel said what kind of society we have created. After the video goes viral several person on twitter asked for the strict action against the culprit.
The brutality can be seen in the video, woman can be seen inhumanly beating the children. She strikes a young girl with her hand, forcefully throws her to the ground, and even hurls her onto a bed after making her stand up. The girls cries and screams for mercy but the woman continue to inflict harm and shows no mercy towards the child, it can be seen that two maid pass by the scene but ignored the violence and do nothing to stop it. The violence does not stop here, heartless woman calls another child from distance and subject her to further brutal beating, even resorting to verbal abuse.

Previously, there have been complaints by the employees against the manager. It is alarming to know that despite many complaints by the employees, there has been no action against her instead resulting in termination of the employees. Eight employees who opposed her action were fired within a year. In fact complaint reaching the Women and Children Development Department, no action has been taken, allowing the program manager to continue her abusive behavior unchecked.
