It has been reported that a civil surgeon based in Patna was administered five shots of the Covid-19 vaccination. The Bihar government has ordered officials to investigate this matter.

The surgeon in question is Dr Vibha Kumari Singh. On being asked, she said that she took three doses of the Covid-19 vaccination, as per the rules. She also claimed that someone used her PAN card details and managed to get the jab twice. She asked for an investigation.

As per the CoWIN portal’s records, Dr Singh received her first dose on January 18, 2021. The records state that she got fully vaccinated in March, 2021. However, government records show that Dr Singh got vaccinated on February 6 and June 6 last year, followed by a precautionary dose on January 13, 2022.

Chandrashekhar Singh, the District Magistrate of Patna, said that an investigation has been set in action. He also said that strict action will be taken against whosoever is found guilty.

This is not the first occurrence when someone has taken more Covid-19 vaccine jabs than required. In early January, 2022, it was reported that Brahmadeo Mandal, an 84-year-old man who puts up in the north Bihar district of Madhepura, took the Covid-19 vaccine at least a dozen times.

On being asked about his vaccination frequency, he replied that every single dose that he took helped relieve his chronic back pain. He revealed that he used his Aadhaar card and his voter ID card on various occasions to register for Covid-19 vaccine. He also shared that he has not caught cold a single time, ever since he took the first shot 11 months back.

On January 16, 2022, India’s Covid-19 vaccination drive completed one year. During this one-year period, over 156.76 vaccine doses were administered. Official records state that over 92 percent of the total adult population in India has received at least one dose of the vaccine.

On Sunday, an under construction four-lane bridge crumbled for the second time in a year in Bihar’s Bhagalpur, a video of the incident is now viral across social media. Earlier it was said no casualties reported but the recent update says a security guard assigned in the construction site has gone missing.

Parbatta Circle Officer Chandan Kumar informed, a security guard working in the SP Singla Company(the company having the contract to construct the bridge), is said to be missing since the bridge collapse and his body has also been not recovered yet.

Kumar said the search operation by SDRF and NDRF teams is underway.

Sultanganj and Khagaria districts are connected by the bridge, which Chief Minister Nitish Kumar officially inaugurated in 2014. CM Kumar has ordered an investigation into the situation and promised to take strict action against the at-fault officials.

Numerous workers were reportedly on the bridge when one of its sections fell to immerse into the river. However, after hearing the news, district administration officials rushed to the collapse site.

Meanwhile, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav has claimed, the collapse of a bridge was intentional due to serious design problems that were found by specialists.

Earlier in a press conference Yadav and Additional Chief Secretary Road Construction department Pratyay Amrit said, no casualties were reported and the choice to destroy the bridge was decided as a result of a section of it collapsed in 2022 during a thunderstorm.

Yadav added that in response, the government has hired researchers from IIT-Roorkee to examine the construction. He also mentioned that a number of vulnerable portions of the bridge, which is thought to have been constructed for an estimated cost of Rs 1,700 crore, have already been demolished because of structural issues.

Auto man patna

Auto rides, also known as tuk-tuks or three-wheelers, are a popular mode of transportation in India. These compact, motorized vehicles offer a fun and unique way to explore cities and towns while experiencing the local culture, but can you ever Imagine yourself lying on the roof of the auto-rickshaw and enjoying its ride?

A video is now viral on the internet, where a man can be seen taking up a stunt that has shocked the internet.

In the viral video, a man from Chikohra, Patna can be seen, in an attempt to make his auto ride more thrilling and interesting, laid on the rooftop of a auto-rickshaw.

This shocking video has been a talking point on the internet. Unfortunately, this is not the first time that we are witnessing such incident, a few months back, on the festival of Holi, a video from Lucknow was spread across the internet, where a drunk man was seen dancing on the rooftop of a auto-rickshaw.

At the current time, when cases of road accidents leading to death in India recorded very high, most of us forget to care about the rules and regulations that we must follow when we are on the roads. The prime example of the same is that most of the riders/drivers don’t care to wear helmets or use seat belts while driving.  While, many break the rules having any fear of getting caught or punished.

According to the report by the National Crime Bureau ( NCRB ), India witnessed around 1.5 lakh road fatalities in 2018 alone which increased to 4,37,396 in 2019, a surge of around 3 lakh deaths due to accidents in a year. However the number decreased substantially in pandemic hit 2020.

The viral video is one such example and many such incidents occurred in the past are the examples of the ignorance and negligence of people towards road safety and their self safety.
