Shootout in Shahjahanpur: Road accident leads to gun-point altercation in the middle of the road, video viral | WATCH

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap is in the news for his latest film which got a standing ovation Cannes recently. But scenes from his old film Gangs of Wasseypur were nearly replicated in real life in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh when two men squared off with a pistol and a rifle pointing at each other in broad daylight on Thursday.

After the incident, the neighbourhood is panic-stricken. Police are investigating the incident which was recorded on CCTVs.

In the video captured on CCTV, a Mahindra Scorpio can seen colliding with a motorcycle. A verbal argument breaks out between the driver of the Scorpio and the biker. The argument takes a far more violent turn when the Scorpio driver pulls out a rifle and, in return, the biker flashes a pistol at each other. It is not known if bullets were fired.

A similar video of men in Ghaziabad pointing their guns and dancing became viral recently. In another video a man is loading his rifle while sitting in the car and fires gunshots in the air.Such videos point to lack of proper policing in Uttar Pradesh putting the safety of the common man and even a bystander at great risk.

The Yogi Adityanath government prides itself on maintaining an eagle eye on law and order and to overcome the stereotype that UP has a lax law and order system. But these videos point to another situation, that of unbridled aggression and anger among citizens. Even if these arms are licensed, pointing them in public puts the lives of local people at risk. The Umesh Pal murder case is still fresh in the minds of people as is the live TV killing of Atiq Ahmed and his brother. Such scenes have descended from the silver screen and are being lived on the streets of Uttar Pradesh.

Meanwhile Choudhary said, if BJP government is formed in Bihar action will be taken against those involved in cow slaughter. Continuing on his remarks on Gandhi Choudhary said Gandhi is a child and even questioned his political acumen.

He said although Rahul is 50 years old he lacks the political intelligence comparing him with a child having intellectual capacity of a child. Choudhary even addressed the issue of love Jihad. He said, if BJP government comes to power in Bihar, love jihadists will be identified and prosecuted.

Wrestlers threaten Asian Games boycott if demands are not met

India’s top wrestlers have threatened that they will boycott the upcoming Asian Games if their demands are not met. 2016 Olympics Medal Winner Sakshee Malikkh said talking to the media that the people do not understand their mental state.

The protesting wrestlers held a mahapanchayat with Khap Leaders in Sonipat, Haryana today. Ace wrestler Bajrang Punia earlier had said about sharing the details of their discussion with government with the Khap leaders in the Mahapanchayat.

The meeting Minister Thakur took place for five hours after which the Minister presented a written proposal to the wrestlers. The proposal assured the wrestlers that there would be a thorough investigation in the matter by June 15, but did not mention anything about the arrest of the WFI chief.

It has been two months since the wrestlers have been protesting for the removal and arrest of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. The Delhi Police on Friday, took a woman wrestler, accompanied by women police officers to Singh’s office as part of the investigation.

At about 1:30 pm they reached the WFI office and spent half an hour there. During this period the wrestler was asked to recreate the scene of the alleged harassment and recall the places where she was harassed.
