Raj Kundra’s UT 69 trailer was out today. Claimed to be a biography, it follows his journey through prison, where he spent roughly two months in 2021, and also marks his acting debut. There is no mention of his infamous pornographic case in the trailer.

For those who don’t know, Shilpa Shetty’s husband was taken into custody and identified as a principal culprit in a case involving pornographic films back in July of 2021. In September of that year, he was placed into judicial detention and then freed on bond.

He responded, to it and said no, when asked if he had made the decision to make film of his journey while inside. Raj Kundra said one of his friend came and appreciated the book he was writing on his time spent in jail. His friend said the book is really great. The book was titled Memoirs of my Jail Time. Raj said, he was jotting down book notes. His friend then approached him.

Raj further said his fried went oin asking him that how was it inside? What happened their?  To which he responded he is not gonna go through entire thing. Then told his friend, yeh mere notes hai, aap padh lo. Aur saath mein letters bhi the – jo shilpa mujhe likha karti thi aur main unko which translates, these are my notes; you can read them. Also, there were letters that Shilpa used to write to me and I to her. Raj’s friend came back to him after 30–40 days and said they made the film.

During the release of UT 69’s trailer, Raj revealed in an interview how his wife, Shilpa, responded to his initial statement that he wanted to make a movie about himself. He chose to tell her that he is making a film while we were a few feet apart. He laughed and continued, he didn’t want to get too close to her.

Raj said, Shilpa’s immediate response wasn’t very nice. Raj informed her that he was waiting for her response and that he had a script. He turned his back on her, and something flew at his face. He believed she initially considered the proposal to be a little risky. Perhaps she believed that the movie wouldn’t be produced.

The teaser of Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming film Ramayana has been released, offering the first glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor in the role of Lord Rama. The film, which is planned as a two-part cinematic project, is scheduled for a Diwali release later this year.

The teaser shows several key moments, including scenes from the coronation and the exile period in the forest of Panchavati. Ranbir Kapoor appears in the role of Rama with a calm and composed presence. The teaser also briefly shows Yash in the role of Ravan towards the end.

Ahead of the teaser launch, Alia Bhatt shared a video message on social media asking audiences to support the project and Ranbir Kapoor’s work on the film. In the video, she said the “Rama unit” video would be released and encouraged audiences to watch and support the film.
