Rajinikanth declares political entry; to contest next assembly polls in TN

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Says it was time to “change the government, change the system”.
After much speculation, Tamil superstar Rajinikath finally declared his entry into the political space of Tamil Nadu – stating that his party will be contesting all 234 seats in the next assembly elections in 2021. However, the actor also mentioned that a call on contesting the 2019 parliamentary elections will be taken at an appropriate time.
Stating that the politics and governance in Tamil Nadu is going through the worst phase and has turned into a laughing stock, Rajinikanth said it was time to “change the government, change the system”. He further stated, “If I don’t make this decision now… the guilt will haunt me”.
Speaking at a fans meet-and-greet event in Chennai, the Tamil superstar acknowledged the fact that it would not be easy to form a party and contest the elections against the existing political powers.
Mentioning that his political entry is not with an intention to seek power or fame, Rajinikanth said, “I did not have political ambitions when I was 45, so will I have it when I’m 68? I am not doing this for any post. I do not come for money or fame, as I have enough of it. But the politics has become so bad that rest of the world is laughing at us.”
“I don’t want volunteers, I want guardians. I need guardians who don’t ask the help of any politician for any personal need. I don’t want party cadres. I want guardians who can fight for people’s rights. And I’m just a people’s representative, who will oversee this army of guardians. I need guardians who can question the government unconditionally,” he added.

The Tamil Nadu politics has been witnessing a chaotic situation since the death of former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa. Following the demise of the state’s ‘Amma’, the leaders of the ruling AIADMK got into a major power struggle, with the party getting split into two factions – one lead by Chief Minister E Palaniswami and other by his predecessor O Panneerselvam.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) – which has been making desperate attempts to extend their dominance in the South Indian states and had also offered Rajinikath to join the saffron party – congratulated the Tamil superstar on Sunday on his political entry.
“Welcome actor Rajinikanth’s political entry with motto of corruption free good governance which is the sole aim of BJP,” tweeted state party leader T Soundararajan.
Days before Rajinikanth, veteran Tamil actor Kamal Haasan too announced his entry into Tamil Nadu politics. While alleging the existing parties of corruption and bad governance, Haasan stated that he will be forming a new party. On Rajinikanth’s political entry, Hasaan today tweeted, “I greet Rajini’s social concern and political debut. Welcome, welcome.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Mann Ki Baat: PM Modi says India-Middle East-Europe corridor will become future basis of world trade
The India-Middle East-Europe corridor will become the basis of world trade for hundreds of years to come and history will always remember that the corridor was initiated on Indian soil, said PM Modi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his 105th episode of Mann Ki Baat said that the India-Middle East-Europe corridor will become the basis of world trade for hundreds of years to come and history will always remember that the corridor was initiated on Indian soil.
On September 24 in his monthly Mann Ki Baat, PM Modi also talked about Chandrayaan-3’s success and urged all citizens to participate in the Chandrayaan-3 Mahaquiz, a unique opportunity to learn and celebrate India’s lunar mission. Let’s embark on this cosmic adventure together, he added.
PM Modi said throughout the year, programmes related to G20 were held at numerous universities in the country. Now in this series, another exciting programme is about to take place in Delhi, which is G20 University Connect Programme, he said.
Speaking about World Tourism Day, he said two days from now, 27th September, is World Tourism Day. Some people view tourism just as a means of touring and travelling, but a very big aspect of tourism is related to employment, the Prime Minister further said.
He further talked about temples in Karnataka. PM Modi said a few days ago, that Shantiniketan and the holy Hoysala temple of Karnataka have been declared world heritage sites by UNESCO. He extended his greetings to the countrymen on this feat.
During the G20 Summit in New Delhi, US principal deputy national security advisor Jon Finer announced an unprecedented and ground-breaking infrastructure initiative involving a railway and shipping corridor that will improve trade, energy, and digital connectivity.
Speaking to reporters, Finer drew an indirect but striking comparison between China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and the project, saying it will close a significant infrastructure gap and be high-standards, transparent, sustainable, non-coercive and based on the demand signal from the region instead of being an imposition.
BRI is heavily attacked for entangling nations in unmanageable debt, as well as for being opaque, forceful, and sacrificing standards.
Finer claimed that the project is consistent with the greater West Asian agenda of the Joe Biden administration.
