The Chennai Supert Kings star opener Ruturaj Gaikwad continued to make a strong claim for a spot in the Indian ODI team, bagging 124 off 129 against Kerala in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy to take his tournament tally past 414 runs in just three innings

After his back to back steller performances, tweeple were started claiming to include Gaikwad in team India ODI squad. They also come up with his stats in first class cricket as well as his performance in this year’s IPL edition.

The CSK, his frenchise, also shared his picture in which he can be seen padding and wrote wake up, pad up and Roar.

Gaikwad have shots all around the park and know how to dominate spin bowling – something that India have struggled with lately. And if there is a mini-collapse at the top, he also understand the nuances of grafting.
