Sonam Kapoor’s nurse arrested along with her husband for stealing cash and jewellry worth Rs 2.4 crore
The couple allegedly stole cash and jewellery worth Rs 2.4 crore in February from Sonam Kapoor’s house in plush Amrita Shergill Marg, New Delhi.
A nurse working at Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor’s Delhi residence has been arrested along with her husband for their conduct in a theft. The couple allegedly stole cash and jewellery worth Rs 2.4 crore in February from Sonam Kapoor’s house in plush Amrita Shergill Marg, New Delhi.
The crime took place on February 11 and an FIR was registered by February 23 at Tughlaq Road Police Station. The complainant of the case is Anand Ahuja’s house manager. A police official said that the house staff includes 20 people and they all were interrogated in the due process.
Informing about the arrest the police official said, “The Delhi Police Crime Branch along with a team of the Special Staff of the New Delhi district conducted a raid in Sarita Vihar on Tuesday night. They arrested the 31-year-old nurse and her husband.” However, the stolen cash and jewellery are yet to be recovered.
The nurse used to take care of Sonam Kapoor’s mother-in-law and her husband was the accountant at a private firm in Shakarpur. Both planned and robbed the actor’s house. Police also revealed that further investigation is underway and almost everyone working at the Amrita Shergill Marg house have been questioned. Furthermore, the Tughlaq Road police station has now transferred the case to the Special Staff Branch of New Delhi district for investigation.

According to reports, the actor slipped while he was working in the kitchen and got injured. He was taken to hospital where he lost his life.
The 67-year-old actor is survived by his wife Suzanne Bernert, also an actor. The incident took place in Hyderabad, Telangana where he was shooting for an upcoming project.
Actor Manoj Bajpayee had extended his condolence on the death of veteran actor Akhil Mishra. He said the incident was unbelievably shocking.
Akhil was married to a German actor Suzanne Bernert in February 2009. Later in 2011, they got married as per the traditional rituals.
Akhil has worked in several movies like Gandhi, My Father, Don, Shikhar, Kamla Ki Maut, and Well Done Abba. He got his popularity as a librarian Dubey in 3 Idiots movie, starring Amir Khan, R Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor, Boman Irani, and Omi Vaidya among others.
The veteran actor was also seen in famous TV shows like CID, Udaan, Hatim and Uttaran among others.
Suzanne Bernert has also worked in several Television shows such as Porus, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Savdhaan India, Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat.
Earlier, Akhil Mishra and his wife Suzanne worked together in the movie Kram. They have worked in TV Shows together like Dewaana, a Doordarshan serial.
They worked in a short film named Manju Ki Juliet as well in 2019.
His last rites were held on September 21 at 3:30 pm at Indralok near Golden Nest. Suzanne had made all the arrangements and preparations for the cremation. She said that her heart was broken and her second half had gone forever.
