मस्तक झुके और वंदन हो जाए;

These celebrations highlight a variety of occasions, some of which mark the beginning of a new year while others are related to the rains, the harvest, etc. While the Parsi New Year often falls in August each year, Indians use the Shahenshahi Calendar, which disregards the idea of leap years and places the celebration in August. Similarly, Jamshed-i-Navroz is another name for the Parsi New Year. The Parsi community adheres to the belief that the great King Jamshed has saved the world from impending calamity.
