5 DIY masks to try for healthy and strong hair

Having healthy hair is surely a dream, given the humidity and pollution, healthy hair seems like a dream that would never come true. As you know that nowadays weather is constantly changing due to which our hair are facing lots of problems like breakage of hair, frizzy hair, hair fall and dandruff.

Our hair gets nutrition from the moisture that is locked in our hair follicles but due to the dust particles, a layer gets created on the outer surface of scalp which stops the moisture from reaching towards the hair follicle.

But do not worry, you can still make your hair healthy without even spending a lot of money that is by making some easy DIY hair masks that will help you to restore moisture.

Here are some of the DIY masks for different types of hair problems.

For Dry Hair

For this take 5 tablespoons of gram flour and mix it with curd and at last add 2 tablespoons of olive oil then mix it well. Gently apply it to your hair then leave it for 30 minutes. After that rinse your hair with sulphate free shampoo.

For Damaged hair

For damaged hair, you don’t require expensive products to repair or rejuvenate your hair. Take one ripe banana and then blend it well. After this, take 4 tablespoons of honey, 1 tablespoon of glycerine and 1 tablespoon of olive oil and then mix it all weel with the blended ripe banana. Then apply it for 30 minutes and after that wash the hair mask with your favourite shampoo.

You can also try your hands on an egg mask. For this mask, you need 3 egg yolks and then mix it 3 tablespoon of olive oil and add some drops of your favourite essential oil and then leave it for 20 minutes and wash it of with shampoo.

Hair growth masks

For this mask, you need to mix one tablespoon of both amla and shikhakayi powder with 2 tablespoons of coconut oil and then boil it for five minutes. You can apply this oil before going to the bed.

Frizzy hair

If you want to get rid of frizzy hair, then you need to try this mask. For making this mask, take one egg and mix it with 1/4^th cup of almond oil, mix them well and then divide your hair in the sections and apply it on your scalp. Then leave it for 40 minutes and after that rinse it off with sulphate free shampoo and conditioner.

Hair fall

Hairfall is a common problem that one faces in the monsoon season. For getting rid of hair fall, you can try this hair mask. For this, you require one whole egg, 1 cup of milk,1 tablespoon of lemon juice and last 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Mix all the ingredients together then apply it for 20 to 30 minutes and then rinse it with sulphate free shampoo.
