The logo, theme and website of India’s G20 presidency was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday.
PM Modi virtually addressed the event. He congratulated the citizens of country on this historic occasion of India’s G20 Presidency.

The symbol of India’s compassion toward the rest of the globe is “Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam.” The lotus symbolises India’s cultural history and belief in uniting the world, Modi remarked.
In his address, he noted that “India is now about to take the leadership of the G20; it’s a matter of great opportunity for India in its 75th year of Independence,” adding that it is a source of pride for all Indians and will bring greater glory for all of the residents of the country.
Modi added that each post-independence government and the Indian people have made a unique contribution to the development of India. “We must advance with new vigour and carry the world with us,” he continued.
The G20 presidency presents India with a special chance to contribute to the global agenda on urgent problems of international significance, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) stated on Monday.
According to the statement, the G20 presidency of India’s logo, theme, and website would represent the nation’s message and overarching priorities to the rest of the globe.
On December 1, India will take over as the head of the influential alliance from current chair Indonesia. An intergovernmental meeting of the world’s leading developed and emerging economies is known as the G20 or Group of 20. Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, and the European Union (EU)are all included.
The G20 is the top platform for worldwide economic cooperation, encompassing over two-thirds of the world’s population, over 75 per cent of global trade, and 85 per cent of the global GDP. Over will host 200 meetings in 32 distinct industries at various venues all over the country. The G20 Summit, which will take place in 2019, will be one of the most important international events that India will host.
