All eyes will be on Virat Kohli-led team India when they take on England in the third Test, aiming for an unassailable lead in the 5-match series.

The visitors will enter the contest on the back of a terrific win at Lord’s and would like to carry the momentum while the hosts would be desperate to bounce back before thing go out of their control. England will be taking the field with a rejuvenated team while India would go unchanged as captain Kohli said the management has no reason to change the winning combination but did not shut the door for R Aswhin’s inclusion saying pitch can bring the seasoned off-spinner back into the picture in England.

India’s batting inconsistent is an issue in England tour. Skipper Kohli’s batting is a matter of concern but however his childhood coach has predicted that Kohli to score century in the 3rd test. In the middle order Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane looks comfortable. While the opening looks sorted, Rishabh Pant has not looked comfortable batting at No. 6 in England against the Duke ball while, Ravindra Jadeja (99 runs in three innings) still has to fill the wicket column playing as the all-rounder.

For England, the absence of top-notch has had showing impact on the team. Opener Dom Sibley and Zak Crawley have been banished in the last two tests. Dawid Malan, who was dumped due to his inability to score in home conditions has been recalled while Haseeb Hameed, who would be open the batting with Rory Burns, has looked edgy.

On the bowling front, the hosts may choose between Craig Overton and Saqib Mahmood for the fourth seamer’s spot.
