Earlier, Ross Taylor continued his fine form from the first ODI and smashed a brave half-century to help New Zealand post a competitive 273 for eight.
Put in to bat, Guptill scored a run-a-ball 79 and along with his opening partner Herny Nicholls (41) as they shared a 93-run partnership. But the hosts suffered a collapse soon after, losing five wickets for 26 runs to slip to 197 for 8.
Yuzvendra Chahal (3/58) claimed three wickets, Shardul Thakur (2/60) took two wickets, while Ravindra Jadeja (1/35) snapped one and effected a run-out to put the hosts in a spot of bother in the middle but Ross Taylor’s brilliance saw them post a good score.

Watch: India’s jersey for ICC World Cup 2023 unvieled
Adidas India’s kit partners also released an anthem of their own for the Indian Cricket Team. The anthem is 2 minute 21 second long. The anthem is called Impossible Nahi Yeh Sapna, 3 Ka Dream hai Apna.

There is a major change to the jersey that India wore in the the recent Asia Cup 2023. The white stripes have been replaced by India’s tri colour. The jerseys worn by Kohli, Rohit and others in the video has orange, white and green stripes on the shoulder. Social media users hailed the change from Adidas. Netizens said it is a master stroke and the tri colours has taken India’s World Cup jersey to a whole new level.
There will be no Dream 11 logo during the World Cup as according to ICC norms only the team’s name should be visible in the centre of the jersey. India has not won an ICC title since the Champion’s trophy in 2013. India is seen as one of the favourites to win the World Cup.

For the first time in 12 years, the World Cup will be held in India, and Dil Jashn Bole perfectly portrays the joy, mirth, and excitement that the event promises to bring to all of us.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday unveiled Dil Jashn Bole, the official theme song for the coming World Cup, which will be hosted in India this year.
The music video, which was composed by Pritam as a celebration of cricket and India, stars Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh in the lead role along with a number of other renowned people and content creators, including choreographer and Yuzvendra Chahal’s wife Dhanashree Verma.

The 2019 World Cup final between England and New Zealand will be reenacted on October 5 in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium, and the World Cup final will take place on Sunday, November 19 at the same location.
