Talking to the media the former Pakistan Skipper explained why Bumrah is a cut above the rest. He said Bumrah is best in the world right now. He said the Indian pace bowler on the top of the ladder. Akram added the variations, the pace and the control complete the bowler. He said it is a treat to watch him bowl. He added with the new ball to get this kind of movement on this kind of pitch follow through, carry pace, pitch and hailed him as a complete bowler.

Akram said when Bumrah is bowling from wide of the crease, the batsman will think the ball is coming inside. He will play for that angle but the ball hits the pitch and moves away rather than coming in. He said in such a situation most of the time the batsman is beaten. He said when he used to bowl outswingers like that to right handed batsman with the new ball sometimes he could not control the ball himself.  He praised Bumrah of having better control over the ball than himself.

Akram said Bumrah is creating uncertainity for the batsman with the new ball at the World Cup. The former Pakistan skipper also joked about how the opposition batsman can put pressure on the in form Bumrah. The length where he bowls with the new ball is what creates uncertainity for the batsmen.
