Sreesanth took to his official Twitter handle and wrote that Wednesday was a difficult day for him but it was also a day of reflection and gratitude. He said that playing for ECC, Ernakulam district, varies diff. League and tournament teams, Kerala state cricket association, BCCI, Warwickshire county cricket team, Indian airlines cricket team, BCCI, and ICC has been a tremendous honor for him.
He added that during his 25 years career as a cricket player, he always pursued success and winning cricket games, while preparing and training with the highest standards of competition, passion and perseverance. He shared that it is an honour for him to represent his family, his teammates, the people of India, and everyone who loves the game.

He further announced that with much sadness but without regret, he is retiring from Indian domestic cricket, including first class and all other formats.
Sreesanth concluded his tweets by saying that he has chosen to end his first-class cricket career for the next generation of cricketers. He added that the decision is his alone and although he knows that it will not bring him happiness, it is the right and honourable action to take at this time of his life. He said that he cherished every moment.

Cricketer Suresh Raina took to his Twitter handle and thanked S Sreesanth for all the wonderful moments in cricket. He said that Sreesanth played with all his passion and leaving a legacy for the younger generation. He sent his best wishes to him for his life ahead. He wished him a happy retirement.

As far as professional cricket is concerned, he last turned out for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League in 2020.

Veteran Indian cricketer Murali Vijay on Monday announced his retirement from all forms of international cricket at the age of 38. Vijay, who last represented India in the 2018 Perth Test, announced his decision over Twitter.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote that, with immense gratitude and humility, he announces his retirement from all forms of international cricket. Talking about his 16-year-long journey, he said those have been the wonderful years of his life, and it was an honour for him to represent India at the highest level of sport.
Vijay even thanked the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA), the Chennai Super Kings, and Chemplast Sanmar for giving him the opportunity. He said he is also grateful to his teammates, coaches, mentors, and support staff, and said that it has been an absolute privilege to have played with them. He also thanked them all for helping him turn his dream into reality.

The right-handed batsman also expressed gratitude to cricket fans for supporting him through the ups and downs of international sport, adding that he will cherish the moments he spent with his fans and their support, which has always been a source of motivation for him.
In the end, the player thanked his family and friends for their unconditional love and support, which have been his backbone throughout his career. He further said that he will be exploring new opportunities in the world of cricket and the business side of it, where he will continue to participate in different environments.
He featured in first-class and List-A cricket for Tamil Nadu late in 2019 in the Ranji Trophy. As far as professional cricket is concerned, he last turned out for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League in 2020.

The video posted by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on its official Instagram handle with a caption “Winning on the field and off it. India – ICC Women’s #U19T20WorldCup Champions”. “The new Kala Chashma champions,” is being widely viewed and shared over the internet.
The video shows the women’s champions dressed in Team India blue and the champion’s medals garlanded around their necks, dancing to the popular song with killer moves and grace.
India on Sunday, defeated England by seven wickets as the Shafali Verma-led side clinched the inaugural ICC U-19 Women’s T20.
Put into bat, the England women managed to put a paltry 68 runs on the board as the Indian bowlers ran roughshod over the Barmy Army. In reply, India lost Shafali and Shweta early in the chase, however, G Trisha and Soumya Tiwari dug in to guide the team home.

The victory is being celebrated across the nation as celebs and leaders lavished praise on the young team for the title win.

President Droupadi Murmu, in her congratulatory tweet, heaped praised upon the young team for putting up an outstanding performance. President Murmu said the champions an inspiration for the country’s youth, especially girls, adding that the historic win has made India proud.
The BCCI has announced a hefty cash reward of Rs 5 crore for the Champion side and its support staff.
BCCI general secretary Jay Shah congratulated the Shafali Verma-led saying that the Indian team showed tremendous skill and grit to overcome the challenges and blazed their way to glory. In another tweet, Shah announced the cash reward for the victorious side.
