Iran and India on Wednesday held a meeting to exchange the ideas for a wide range of trades, connectivity, and counter-terror cooperation amid the ongoing controversy over the derogatory remark on Prophet Mohammad by the ruling BJP party’s leader Nupur Sharma and Naveen Jindal, who have been removed from the party and described as fringe elements.

The meeting has been attended by top Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the first big leader who visited India after the Prophet Mohammad controversy. During the meeting, he raised questions about the controversial remark on Prophet, which has been already criticised by the top Gulf countries including Qatar, Kuwait, and UAE among others with National Security Adviser Ajit Doval.

The report said the National Security Advisor Doval told the Iranian minister that the offenders who have used the bad remark for Prophet Mohammad will be dealt with in such a way that others will take a lesson from it. However, there is no official response from the Indian government side on the details of the Iranian statement.

Reports also revealed that the Iranian minister also praised India’s diverse culture, people, and the government for respect for Prophet Muhammad and others religions equally in the country.

While tweeting about the meeting with India, Abdollahian wrote he is pleased to meet PM Modi, FM Jaishankar and other Indian officials to advance their bilateral strategic dialogue. Tehran & New Delhi agree on the need to respect divine religions & Islamic sanctities & to avoid divisive statements. Determined to bring relations to new heights,” the minister tweeted last night.

Meanwhile, the ruling party BJP on Sunday suspended Nupur Sharma and expelled the party’s Delhi unit media head Naveen Jindal over the derogatory remark on Prophet Mohammad, after getting criticized by the several countries, including United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Indonesia, Maldives, Bahrain, Oman, Malaysia, Libya, Iraq denounced the remark on Prophet.

Shardiya Navratri 2022 kick-started on September 26. The 9-day festival is dedicated to Goddess Durga and her nine forms. The first day of Navratri begins with Kalashasthapna or Ghatasthapana and devotees worship Maa Shailputri on this day.

As per Hindu mythology, Maa Shailputri is a form of Goddess Parvati and a reincarnation of Sati. Her name is formed with two words Shail which means mountain and Putri which means daughter. Collectively, Shailputri means daughter of the mountains.

Shardiya Navratri 2022 Day 1 shubh muhurat

  • According to Drik Panchang, the Ghatasthapana Muhurta falls on Pratipada Tithi. The Ghatasthapana Muhurat will begin at 06:11 am and end at 07:51 am.
  • The Ghatasthapana Abhijit Muhurat is at 11:48 am and will end at 12:36 pm. Additionally, the Pratipada Tithi begins at 03:23 am on September 26 and ends at 03:08 am on September 27.

Maa Shailputri significance

Lord Shiva’s wife Goddess Parvati took birth as Lord Himalaya’s daughter after Sati’s self-immolation. She was then called Maa Shailputri, Hemavati, or Parvati.

Maa Shailputri has two hands. While in the right hand she carries Trishul and in the left hand she carries a lotus flower. She represents the white colour and is synonymous with innocence, peace, purity, and calmness. Devotees worship her for good fortune and prosperity.

Devotees establish a Kalash at their homes which are followed by Panchopachara Puja. Maa Shailputri is worshipped with flowers, incense sticks, oil lamps, fruits, and sweets such as bhog.

It is believed that the Moon is governed by Maa Shailputri and any bad effect of the Moon can be prevented by worshipping Hemavati, the daughter of mountains.

A cute video from Uttar Pradesh has gone viral on social media where a pani puri seller can be seen feeding golgappe to a cow and it’s baby calf. In the video the mother and daughter duo can be seen standing next to a pani puri stall and a man can be seen serving then with pani puri.

To all those who are worried about the cleanliness the man was not directly dipping his hand in the spicy water to serve the cows but there are two people involved in the process. A younger boy can be seen serving the pani puri to the man and he is the one feeding the mother cow and here daughter.

The video was recently shared by Jharkhand collector Sanjay Kumar and he worte on Twitter, “what can one say more if mother and daughter are together and they spot a golgappe seller. ” Checkout the video here:

Madhya Pradesh Dalit man assaulted for sitting on a chair, Police rejects cast angle

The family of a Dalit man has alleged that he was assaulted by a mob for sitting on a chair in the village panchayat office in Madhya Pradesh’s Chhatarpur district. The incident transpired on Saturday when the man was assaulted by a group of people which resulted in the man facing serious injuries. The incident took place in Chauka village, which comes under Matguan police station limits.

The police, however, have abstained to pick up the cast angle in the matter and have called it a fight breaking out due to enmity between the parties. Bijawar’s sub-divisional officer, Raghu Kesri, informed the media on Monday that the incident escalated due to an enmity between the parties. While talking to the media, the police administration addressed that the case has been registered and efforts are being made to arrest the accused in the matter.

The police’s remark contradicts the comments and statements made the by the kin of the 30-year-old Dalit man. The wife of the victim had accused Rohit Singh Thakur, the person identified for assaulting the Dalit man, of being enraged by the Dalit man sitting on a seat in front of him and also added that the accused proclaimed that only Thakurs can sit on a seat.

Subsequently, after Thakur’s remark, the Dalit Man was subjected to being assaulted by Thakur and his accomplices which resulted in the man being seriously injured.

Arvind Kumar Ahirwar, Chauka Village Panchayat secretary, also confirmed the wife’s allegations as he told the press that Thakur had objected to the Dalit man sitting on a chair in front of him and added that the man was beaten up for this reason alone. He further added that the victim had come to his office to give the documents for the construction of a well.

The Panchayat secretary also added that after the incident on Saturday, Thakur with his entourage again reached the Dalit man’s home and attacked him on Sunday. The village sarpanch confirmed the allegations made by the victim’s wife, and also confirmed the attack on the victim on Sunday evening.

The Victim, according to reports, is undergoing treatment at the district hospital after suffering fractures on both hands, injuries on the head, and other body parts as well.
