Kanwar Yatra 2022: Illegal meat and liquor shops on UP route to be shut from July 14

The annual holy pilgrimage Kanwar Yatra, which was being postponed for the last two years due to the global coronavirus pandemic is all set to begin from July 14 to 26. Ahead of the commencement of the holy yatra, the Noida district administration notified all the unauthorised liquor and meat shops will not be operational that come under the yatra route.

While confirming the news, Gautam Budh Nagar DM, Suhas LY said that an official notice stating the closing of meat and liquor shops on the routes for the Kanwar yatra was already being sent to all the traders and shop owners. The DM also ordered civic authorities to repair roads, and manage traffic so that the devotees won’t have to feel any kind of problem during their journey.

The local and district police administration are being directed to reach out to all the liquor and meat shop so that the order will not be violated, Gautam Budh Nagar DM added.

As the country witnessed a sudden surge in Covid-19 cases, the administration asked all the Lord Shiva devotees to follow all the coronavirus norms such as wearing masks and following social distancing throughout their journey.

In order to overcome the fear of Covid, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath recently ordered officials to clear all the route that comes under yatra. He also asked the official to make repairs or make proper lighting arrangements in the street along with sanitation and first-aid for Kawaryas.

Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Awanish Awasthi said that all the arrangements for the devotees have been made. He also asked people participating in the yatra to follow all the directions given by tUP CM. He also urged devotees to perform all the rituals in a peaceful manner across the state.

Kullu accident: 7 killed, 10 injured after tourist vehicle falls into gorge

At least seven people were killed and 10 others were injured after a tempo traveller fell into a gorge in Himachal Pradesh’s Kullu on Sunday. The accident occurred on NH-305 in the Ghiyagi area of Banjar valley at around 8:30 pm.

The Superintendent of Police, Gurdev Singh, stated that five injured have been shifted to the Zonal Hospital in Kullu and the other five are under treatment at a hospital in Banjar. A total of 17 people were travelling in the vehicle, including the driver. The victims were residents of various states, including Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, and Delhi.

Surender Shourie, a BJP MLA from Banjar informed the people about the accident through Facebook Live at around 12:45 am. He said the injured were initially taken to Banjar hospital from where they were referred to Kullu hospital after being given first aid.

BJP MLA even thanked the locals and district administration for rescuing people despite the darkness.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed condolences to the kin of the deceased. He tweeted The incident of a tourist vehicle falling into a ditch in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh is very sad. I express my deepest condolences to the families of those who have lost their loved ones in this accident. Along with this, all possible help is being provided to the injured. I wish him a speedy recovery.

Another similar mishap took place in Kullu last month when one person was killed and three others were injured after boulders hit a moving car following a landslide.

The internet has exploded in admiration for the teacher, as many came forward remarking how this way of teaching is the right way. One Twitter user, while complimenting the teacher, wrote these types of teachers are the ones who should be given the tag of educators for making learning fun for the kids while adding that others who do not practice a similar kind of enthusiasm for teaching are just doing it for the sake of the job and to get paid.

Another user added to the conversation by stating that the teacher and the students are exuberating a type of energy that is matchless and added that the collaboration of the students and teacher in the video is remarkable.

Another video that corresponds with the unique and remarkable way of teaching had previously surfaced on the internet, where a teacher, in order to make the students learn Hindi grammar, drew out a singing performance by the kids where they sang about what are pronouns, verbs, and adjectives in Hindi grammar.

The video was loved and appreciated by a lot of people on the internet as many came forward to appreciate the teaching style while others lamented why they were not exposed to a similar type of teacher back in their day.

A new political crisis emerged in Rajasthan when 82 Congress MLAs submitted their resignation to assembly speaker CP Joshi on Sunday night. All MLAs are loyalist to the Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. Reports said that they have been opposing the appointment of a new Rajasthan Chief Minister.

Meanwhile, Ashok Gehlot said that nothing was in his hands. He has held various constitutional posts for 40 years and the new generation should get a chance.
