Abuse of Bihari security guards: Noida woman sent to 14-day judicial custody
Gautam Buddh Nagar Police said that the woman named Bhavya Rai was caught on video abusing and misbehaving with security personnel of the Jaypee Greens Wish Town society.
A Noida woman, who abused and beat up a private security guard, has been sent to 14-day judicial custody. The video showing the woman assaulting and abusing the security guard in Noida’s Jaypee Greens Wish Town society went viral on social media on Sunday.
The woman was arrested on Sunday after the police registered an FIR based on the complaint of security guard Anup Kumar.
Gautam Buddh Nagar Police said the woman, who assaulted and misbehaved with the security guard in Jaypee Greens Wish Town under the Sector 126 police station, Noida, was arrested and sent to judicial custody for 14 days.
The police said the woman, Bhavya Rai, was caught on video abusing and misbehaving with security personnel of the society. She threatened to dismember the private parts of the guards and repeatedly used Bihari slurs against the guards who were listening to her despite being aggrieved.

Delhi Commission for Women chairman Swati Maliwal took cognizance of this incident and requested strict police action against the woman. She wrote on Twitter that the woman was openly abusing the guard with so much hooliganism. It was vulgarity.
Sharing a video of the accused woman, Swati Maliwal tweeted that the end of insolence and hooliganism was like this.
A Twitter user said Noida’s wrestler Didi was looking a little decent wearing glasses, otherwise, look at the policewomen standing next to her, she was also looking like a child. The hand of the policewoman was also not being held properly, the wrist has come only halfway. If all Indian women make such health, then patriarchy automatically ends because of fear.
Taking a dig at Arvind Kejriwal’s liquor policy, one Suraj Keshri urged the Delhi CM to see this incident. He wrote that the result of Delhi’s liquor model would be like this. The educated youth would show their pride on the administration and the general public.
Another user wrote that the abuse was a more serious crime in Noida than murder. The user asked Noida Police to filter out the actual crimes and ignore these noises created by people tweeting from the comfort of their homes.

Manipur: Mobile internet services to be restored today, says CM N Biren Singh
Mobile internet services have been banned continuously for the past four-and-a-half months
In a major development, Chief Minister of Manipur N Biren Singh announced on Saturday morning that mobile internet services in the state would be restored from Saturday, nearly five months after they were banned in view of the communal violence that broke out in the state.
As far as reports are concerned, the internet services, both mobile internet and broadband, were banned in the northeastern state of Manipur on May 3, the day when the violence first broke out. The ban on internet services was first imposed for a period of five days and continued to be extended for five days at a time, underlining the law-and-order situation in the violence-hit state.
According to The Indian Express report, a member of Chief Minister N Biren Singh’s team stated that the decision has been relayed to the relevant teams and it is likely that mobile internet service will resume within a few hours. While mobile internet services, which is how most people access the internet, have been banned continuously for the past four-and-a-half months, broadband services had been conditionally restored following a government order on July 25.
During that time, while creating provisions for the restoration of broadband services, the order had stated that the suspension of mobile internet services would continue to be in place, mentioning that there are yet apprehensions that the spread of disinformation and false rumours through several social media platforms and sending bulk SMS, for facilitating and or/mobilization of mobs of agitators and demonstrations, which can cause loss of life and/or damage to public/private property.
In the last month, the Manipur High Court had also directed the state government led by N Biren Singh to devise a mechanism for facilitating internet services through mobile phones by whitelisting the mobile numbers on case-to-case basis and in a phase-wise manner.

Hardeep Singh Nijjar was among India’s most-wanted terrorists, carrying a reward of Rs 10 lakh on his head. He was fatally gunned down by two unidentified assailants outside a gurdwara in Surrey, a province of British Columbia in Canada, on June 18, according to reports.

On September 21, HD Deve Gowda and his son HD Kumaraswamy met with Amit Shah and JP Nadda in Parliament and discussed the alliance between JD(S) and the BJP in Karnataka for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
The speculation arose about the alliance between JD(S) and NDA when Karnataka BJP leader BS Yediyurappa said that BJP was considering an understanding with the JD(S) ahead of Lok Sabha polls.
During the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, JD(S) was in alliance with Congress. They ran the coalition government in Karnataka when HD Kumaraswamy was the chief minister.
