A day after the incident of a drunk ticket collector allegedly peeing on a sleeping woman on a running train came to light, another similar incident is hitting headlines wherein a TTE, in an inebriated state, misbehaved with a woman passenger at Bengaluru railway station.
The video of the incident is doing rounds on the internet. The woman passenger alleged that the drunk TTE misbehaved with her while asking to show her ticket at the platform. In the video, the TTE can be seen asking the passenger to show her ticket as she searched for the ticket on her mobile phone. This sparked a verbal brawl between them.

The TTE was also accused of trying to touch the woman passenger and abusing her. The accused alleged that she got onto the train without a ticket. Reports said the TTE has been suspended by the railways and an investigation is also underway.

On Tuesday, another such incident took place wherein a drunk TTE allegedly peed on a woman’s head onboard the Amritsar-Kolkata Akal Takht Express. As per a Government Railway Police (GRP), the incident occured on March 12.
The woman was travelling with her husband and both were residents of Amritsar. Reports further said the incident took place at midnight in the A1 coach of Akal Takht Express and the drunk TTE was identified as Munna Kumar hailing from Bihar.
The accused TTE was nabbed by the passengers and handed over to the GRP when the train reached Charbagh Railway Station, Lucknow on Monday.
In February, a drunk man aboard a Managlore-bound bus peed on a woman passenger’s seat in Karnataka. Reports said the incident happened when the woman deboarded the bus for refreshment around 10 pm. The news was confirmed by the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation.

Animal Box office collection: Ranbir Kapoor delivers his biggest opener as film earns Rs 61 crore

Ranbir Kapoor’s film Animal has delivered the biggest opening at the Indian box office. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial opened to mixed reviews with many fans calling the film as misogynistic. But it seems Animal has found its audience as the film earned Rs 61 crore in India.
According to trade expert Ramesh Bala, the film’s worldwide collection on its opening day is between Rs 110-115 crore. He took to X (Fomerly Twitter) and wrote Animal has made $2.5 million in North America on opening day. The film had a total of 1318 shows in the Delhi NCR region and had a total occupancy of 79%. In Chennai the Tamil version of Animal had 88 shows and witnessed a total occupancy of 30%. In Telugu, the film had 316 shows in Hyderabad and the occupancy was 82%.
In Mumbai Animal had 1040 shows and the occupancy rate was over 55%. Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan has got the highest opening 2023 which made Rs 75 crore on its opening day. The second position was held by Pathaan which made 57 crore on its opening day. But Animal has surpassed Pathaan to take up the second spot. Tiger 3 was at the third position as the film collected Rs 44.50 crore on its opening day.
Animal was released along with Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur which has only manged to collect Rs 5.5 crore nett in India. It seems Animal will overpower Sam Bahadur but due to the polarized response to the Ranbir Kapoor film can work in favour of Sam Bahadur.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s previous film Kabir Singh had an opening of of Rs 20.21 crore but eventually made over Rs 278 crore nett during its running period. For Ranbir Kapoor, the biggest hit in cinemas so far has been Rajkumar Hirani film Sanju with a total box office collection of Rs 342.53 crore.

Recently the NFL recently secured a monumental $110 billion media deal spanning over a period of 11 years, underscoring the immense financial prowess of the American sporting entity. Dhumal was speaking at the RCB Innovation Lab’s leaders Meet India in Bengaluru.
Former BCCI treasurer Dhumal expressed optimisim about a potential windfall for the league. He made these predictions on the basis of two key developments: The introduction of women’s premier league (WPL) and the inclusion of cricket in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. These developments will have a major impact on the league’s financial growth and overall global prominence.
Dhumal said they needed to keep on innovating and keep doing better in terms of fan engagement and increase the quality of the games.The media rights value of the Indian Premier League has grown exponentially in the last the decade and half from Rs 6000 crore in 2008 and went past several other major sporting leagues all over the world.
Dhumal said IPL is the most watched cricket league in the world. He said it is the biggest Make in India Brand one could think of post independence. He said India was truly a very diverse nation but IPL was the only brand that united the whole country and showcased it at the international stage.
