Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is all set to hit the big screen on July 28. The film marks the return of Karan Johar to the directorial seat after 7 years. The film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani stars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in the lead roles.

Ever since the teaser of the film was dropped netizens are going crazy over it. Makers are regularly posting short clips of the movie or the looks of actors to build curiosity among the fans.

Now, a few fresh videos have been released hinting at the full release of the song Tum Kya Mile. The video is from the famous Dubai frame, in which it can be seen that in the middle of the frame, the aircraft are writing Tum Kya Mile. The song is sung by Arijit Sing and written by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The composer of the song is Pritam Chakraborty.

Interestingly, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani also marks the first full-length film of Karan Johar to be shot in India.

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai was filmed in Scotland and Mauritania, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham in the UK and Egypt, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna and My Name Is Khan in the USA, Student Of The Year in Bangkok, and his last directorial Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was shot in the UK.

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani was totally filmed in India by Karan Johar. He filmed the movie in Kashmir, Jaisalmer, Unchagaon, Mumbai, and Delhi. Prior to his short films in anthologies, none of his earlier films were totally shot in India.

His clarification came after his name had been circulating in discussions about possible contestants for Bigg Boss 20.

Batwara 1947 has had a disappointing run at the box office, and actor Shabana Azmi has now shared her thoughts on why the film may not have connected with audiences. According to Azmi, one possible reason could be the difficulty some viewers had in accepting Sunny Deol as a Muslim character.

The film, which also features Preity Zinta and Shabana Azmi, was released on August 14. It has reportedly earned around Rs 53 crore so far, while Awarapan 2, which released on the same day, has crossed the Rs 200 crore mark.

Azmi also suggested that there may have been confusion among some viewers about Sunny Deol’s character in Batwara 1947. She said that even some people who had watched the film believed Deol was playing a Pakistani character, whereas, according to her, he plays an Indian Muslim.
